Hmm I think I managed 9 NSD days, I am now on Decembers budget, and it is sadly not working out very well. I do need a new job, that is full time.
On the positive side 2 of my major outstanding problems from when I was ill last year have now been resolved - I have had my claim for the last element of a grant approved, so free money for me/money I have already spent recovered. Which is an amazing relief. The other one was that I have been released from a threat to loosing my job that has been looming since February.
Today I am sadly not working cover, but I can use the day to reapply for a local job that has been reposted and work on my website.
I am so excited for this and I am so thankful for everybody who have helped me in the last year :-)Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%
Emergency fund: 100/1000 10%
Weight loose 8.6 kg - while having fun. 0/8.6 0%
Focus debt to clear HSBC £10/1111, 0% updated May 256 -
I am back playing the role of 'limbo-bimbo'. Hopefully the housekeeping money will come in tomorrow, but it is the weekend, so who knows! The bills will come out on Monday, that is a definite.
I have £7.59 left in the permitted budget and that will go on milk and bread today. I have my emergency £50 in a tin on the bookshelf for 'Just-in Case-y'. DH is gearing up for a spending spree - Black Friday marketing works so well on him. Tragic!
I am grateful for a surprise 2 days of work this month, and thus a bonus £300 shunted to savings. I would love to get a few more of those
So all in all, a good month. Boiler serviced for under £80, started looking at tiles for the bathroom, MOT arranged for next month, feeling ready for December.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

NSD #10 yesterday. Today is already not an NSD for me but I have had a docs appointment and, unexpectedly, my flu jab today already. Also dropped off some very old medication that DB1 had stashed away in his room at pharmacy. Will be taking a car-full of stuff to the tip early this afternoon - Mum’s old chest of drawers which were buckled, a 30+ year old dolls pram which is starting to go rusty, a load of DB1s unwanted electricals, Mum’s and my old laptops, an old intermittently working set of digital scales, a broken plastic washing basket (DB1 put his foot through it when Mum was poorly in August), old shower hose and pole, an unwanted set of suitcases (which I’ll offer to the charity bit at the tip) and more that I can’t remember off the top of my head. I think with all that I can probably say I’ve decluttered a decent amount this month, although there is still a ridiculous amount to do. Payday today so I’ve shuffled my money to various savings accounts and rest is in current accounts waiting for all the bills to kick in over the next couple of weeks. Hoping to post most of the Xmas cards I’ll be sending on my way back from the tip today as well.
Plans this weekend are to pop to DB2s tomorrow for dinner and to spend time with littlest nieces, go out for breakfast with DB1 tomorrow before he goes down to Devon to visit family in the afternoon for a few days, sort out a few more bits in Mum’s room (including putting some blankets away in airing cupboard), catching up on some stuff on $ky+ planner and watching my favourite tv show and chilling out, ready to return to work on Monday. Not expecting any more NSDs this month and doubt too much will happen so will see you all on next months thread hopefully.
I’m grateful for an unexpected but almost immediate flu jab appointment this morning, getting a load of unwanted rubbish out of the house later today and being able to replenish my savings accounts a bit with payday today.6 -

Still NSD #8 for me.. I had to get postage for an ebay item, but the buyer had paid for that. Also some small items for my business, but that is accounted for separately. BUT I didn't say NO to a lovely bag in the CS, so £6.50 spentWork today, and it was a slow day
Scary when it is so close to Christmas. At least it was a bit warmer in the shop today, and I have done my bit till next week.
Sausages for dinner, and there are some left for another meal.I have taken ingredients out of the freezer to make a pie tomorrow, gradually running it down. Now the dog has come to stand on my laptop so I had better post this before he disappears it5 -

Well done on the NSDs @beanielou and everyone!!!
Yesterday was spendy as I went into town for a few drinks (first time since August)
I am finishing on 14 NSD probably as I do need to do a little food shop today, but I'm fairly happy with that.
Thank you to everyone who has posted and read along for No!vember, I really appreciate you turtles!!! see you over in the tardis!!Student loan £5655

We made it!!! No more saying No! Woo hoo!
I said No! to £200 for varifocals yesterday. I will buy one of those strings and juggle my glasses 🤓. Going for varifocals contact lens trial for free instead and see if they work worth a ****.
Also going to look at bathrooms. It was my job for November to get this done. I still have 14 hours left.....
Ending the month with -20p in the budget ( or rather not in the budget) and £50 in the emergency cash tin.
Unsurprisingly cash interest did not appear and neither did the housekeeping - because it is the weekend and bank computers don't work at weekends unless you owe them money.
Good luck to all PB 🐢's for Monday.
See you in the Tardis 🚀🚀 and thanks @Shrewbie4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Today ended up being an unexpected NSD so finishing on 11 for the month. Was meant to have gone out for breakfast with DS1 this morning before he went away but he wasn’t feeling that great so decided not to. Quiet day today but I managed to get pretty much up to date on shredding and watched a few bits off the $ky planner. Went over to DS2s for dinner but they were all knackered so only stayed for a couple of hours. Gave them an unwanted box file so one last item out before the end of the month. See you all on December’s thread.5
