Think I’m on nsd #16 today. Surpassing my hopes. I have only had 5/10 things leave my house though so beyond my hopes.I need to sign up to the December thread now. It does help keep me on the straight and narrow.Mortgage free wannabee 2022 #824

Posted earlier, but it seems to have disappeared, so perhaps I typed it out and didn't press 'post'NSD #8 for me today. Not great, but at least I have kept count this month for a change.Didn't do much this morning as I was up late last night trying to sort out OH's new phone. Still haven't sorted out his whatsappLooked in the fridge this afternoon and there were lemons that needed using, so I made a couple of small lemon drizzle cakes and a batch of lemon curd. Dinner was sorted apart from doing some mashed potatoes, as I also had beef stew and leftover veg in the fridge. There is enough beef stew for another day too.Walked the dog - free exercise.Sold a small item on eb*y, so will post that either tomorrow or Friday, whichever day I end up having the car.Sorted out a couple of items to take to my sales unit tomorrow. I sold quite a bit last Friday, for a change, so there are some gaps to fill. The floods have receded from the town centre now, but it has been a cold, damp day today. Grateful for my chair by the fire tonight!4

Another accidental NSD so I am on #13 now. Boilerman came at 9.30 and was gone by 9.45. I offered to bop the money over to him there and then, but he said he would send an invoice the next time he was sat down doing money things. I assume that means he does not want to be paid in November..... for some reason or other. The money is put aside for him anyway.
Still have £50 Emergency cash in my tin, and about £50 left of the budget in my bank account.
Tomorrow will involve spending money, but mostly charity shops, and a small food shop. Does anyone else have a shopping list for the charity shops? A wish list, or a hit list.?
Rummaged through the pantry and freezer for supper tonight. Found 1/4 pack of veggie mince so made a red sauce and managed to hide a large courgette (grated) , the end of a celery, 2 sad red peppers and 6 rock hard tomatoes 🍅 went in under the lasagne sheets. Fridge much tidier now. Sliced up another sad aubergine and brushed it with a mixture of golden syrup, red chilli paste, and garlic oil and baked it topped with (not) cheese. Lush .
While I was making the white sauce I made a packet mix Creme Carmel🍮 🍮. More packet tat out of the pantry. Feeling very virtuous after all that tidying.
Keep warm, turtle friends .4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

NSD #9 today. Fairly quiet day as I slept very badly last night (or more accurately didn’t really sleep overnight 😢). Visited uncle who was incredibly grateful for the bits of Mum’s that we gave him. Spent most of the afternoon with him and his wife. Tomorrow will be taken up with sorting bits ready to take to the tip on Friday and I have a couple of work calls at some point. I also want to sort out the last few Xmas cards ready to get posted on Friday, which is likely to be a spend day anyway) including putting copies of Mum’s order of service for her funeral in a couple of them for people who weren’t able to attend.
Im grateful for surviving today on a short nap, spending time with my uncle and his wife and that he was really happy with the things that we gifted to him.
