Today I have managed nsd #8. No spends needed. I was at work, quick dinner made at home from stores and then clubs, bath and bed for the kids. Now treating myself to a home made hot chocolate before an early night.Everyone is doing so well with declutterring. Think I need to book a tip slot ha ha.Mortgage free wannabee 2022 #827

Decluttering the mental space:
I am trying to tidy my mental space - the main aim is finishing things, projects, things I didn't get done, so not adding any new demanding agenda items!
Decluttering the physical space:
I do a swish tidy most days and try to throw out a few things out everyday, or put them back where they belong!
Goals and positive changes...
I am on a strict low spend this month, but as some of my shops are on bike home from work, I do tend to not get many NSD days.
My main target is to get money paid out that I am due and to not have to pay tax fines, so have appealed those.
Have an invoice out, so sent out a reminder.
Have a left over bit from a grant so have done last requirements to get it paid out.
Am doing surveys to get pennies for the odd drink or swim!
My main motto is that the money I don't spend are the easiest ones to earn/keep. Happy Monday.
Today I am grateful for ds2 and girlfriend making dinner.

That’s a good motto @ditty1234. I also do surveys to get together a few extra pennies for the odd tea or coffee… usually covering whoever I’m with, too. I like being generous with my hard-earned survey coins, but sometimes I want to say, “This coffee took me ten surveys!” 🤣
Staying on NSD 3 after buying our last Sproutmas gift for a family member.
DS was off school today for an in-service day, but thankfully Mum whisked him off to the swimming to keep him entertained for a bit.
WFH today, made a big batch of lentil soup for OH and me for next few lunches, plus managed to get two loads of washing done and hung out.
Today’s gratitudes: DS enjoying a lie-in after a busy weekend and late nights, no school run, Mum keeping DS entertained while I cracked on with work, finishing the family gift list (just a couple of Costa vouchers left to get for the school lollipop man and lady), and cooking a tasty dinner for OH and DS—who even tried a bit of my spicy chicken ramen!

Another NSD for me today
Squeezed in a Pilates session & Norwegian before breakfast. Work was a bit full on, the first half an hour, but thankfully calmed down afterwards.
Walked up to the secondary school after work, to drop sewing off, & carried on a different route. Was good to do it from the opposite direction!
Had a 10 min nap, then had a scam caller ringing, so woke me up 🤣got a couple of rows of my knitting done whilst tea was cooking. Did 2 sewing jobs after tea. Started filling in an application for DS2's passport, but realised I don't know his email address, & he was asleep. A job for tomorrow.
Grateful for DH putting spare portions of meals in the freezer (sweet & sour pork for my dinner today 😋), nice to see DS1 after he's been away all weekend, that work calmed down after the mad start!
I'm impressed @f0xh0les with your coupon juggling. Get well soon to all the poorlies. Happy new floor @beanielouUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

Still on NSD #4, as it was weekly shopping day. Took the opportunity to order birthday gifts for smallest grandson, who will be 7 early next monthHoping for more NSDs for the remainder of this week!No L*dl veg boxes available this week.Stripped the bed, washed the linen and got it mostly dry outside on the line, as it was chilly, windy and sunnyMade a chocolate beetroot cake. Nicer than it sounds, and used some of the beetroot that are proliferating in the garden!Went to see DD after lunch, got eggs from her chickens to bring homeNaan bread pizzas for dinner tonight with HM coleslaw - yummy. Used tomato sauce from the freezer.Grateful today for a good drying day and seeing DD8

I did it, I did it—I made it to NSD 4!
First thing after dropping DS at school, I had an appointment with my nurse and then my GP. Saw the nurse, then settled in at reception to wait for the GP. Half an hour goes by, no one’s called me, so I ask reception. Turns out the system hadn’t checked me in properly, so I was marked as a no-show. And since GP surgeries are ridiculously busy, they couldn’t squeeze me in, so now I’ve got to book in for another day. Oh well—just one of those things!
On the way home, I posted a parcel from one of my VinTd sales—another job done!
Actually got through a decent amount of work today - moved a few things along.
Dinner was easy—a batch-cook chilli made by DS at the weekend. And now, I’m about to get ready for a body balance class, which I’ve been putting off for, oh, about three months. Wish me luck!
Today’s gratitudes: lunch with Mum at hers, another VinTd sale, quick batch-cooked dinners, and finally making it back to my Tuesday gym class!

I am on nsd #9. Feel like my stress levels are really high today even though I have no reason for them to be higher than normal.

I left my wallet at home today, so managed NDS5. It is also empty the freezer week, as both I and ds2 are pretty much out of money. It feels a bit embarrassing, but it is a fact, so it is basically going to be a quiet one :-)
