Weekends are generally spend days for me as need to get food shopping and prepare for the week ahead. Working full time means weekends are the only time to get other things done.Took my eldest to see swan lake at a local theatre yesterday and it was lovely. She was inspired just like I was watching it when I was younger. I’m very grateful for that. Also grateful for my fabulous sister who has invited us for dinner tonight. Cannot wait to have a catch up and have someone cook for me. Very grateful this weekend.Mortgage free wannabee 2022 #827

Hi turtles,I am calling NSD 6 today as I have enthusiastically said "no" to all shopping trips and excursions today and yesterday (apart from the piano concert yesterday, which was already paid for, and lovely.A few things I will say "no" to this week:1. accepting advice from well meaning people who think they know better2. talking about my personal life and generally blabbing about my plans at work (which leads to point 1)3. shopping (until Thursday)Student loan £5655
House deposit €32,667K/€40k6 -
NSD 3… yippee!
Grateful today for it remaining dry whilst at a football match, for OH making a delicious dinner, and for heated body warmers!NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸7 -
Still stuck on NSD #4. DS and DD in law invited us for dinner, which was lovely. My contribution was dessert (no spend there, I made a crumble from stores) but I did have to buy some cream to go with it. Tomorrow likely won't be one either, as it will be shopping day. I also need to post some eb*y parcels, but I don't count those, as the buyers have already paid for postage.Grateful for a nice weekend and time spent with family8

Still stuck on NSD #4.Posted 4 sold items this morning, so decluttering continues. Listed a couple more on FB Marketplace and one on eb*y.Tidied my shop unit too, as I was in town anyway.Don't seem to have done much else. I am a bit achey today for some reason.I did speak to a friend on the phone. She has recently returned from France after living there for about 15 years. It will be nice to see her more often8

On Saturday I went to a Print Fair, and only spent £3, I had borrowed DS3s bus ticket so there were no spends for that, then picked up 2 tubes of pate and came home. Not a NSD but low spends.
A broken tv (we tried to fix it but it did not cooperate) and a mangled bike wheel went off to the recycling section of the tip on Sunday. Did a small Mr M's shop, but it was mostly ys, and their freezer section was dire, so could not get half of what I needed, so I had to do a T0sc0 shop this afternoon, bill for £55, knocked down to £41 with cl0bcard, and used a £6 off a £40 spend voucher = £55 worth for £35. Very happy with my discounts. Fridge and Freezer full now.Going to need petrol soon though....
