It’s been busy with recruiter calls etc. Two first stage interviews set up now - one for Friday this week and one for Wednesday next week. Got job descriptions for both and have started the prep.Nothing done in the garden as too wet and murky.
I have been restrained on eating and did my yoga and physio exercises this morning so am feeling slightly less sore / tight 😊

NSD #4 for me today. I haven't been feeling well for some reason, thought I was getting OH's cold but maybe I am just fighting it off. So I have been saying NO to most jobs today and even went to bed for a while late morning. Most unusual for me! I have work tomorrow so will get an early night I think.

Up since 3am with a poorly DS, who’s been busy all day battling what I can only assume is some kind of demon stomach virus – the exorcism is ongoing! Now I'm starting to feel a bit rough myself, so fingers crossed it's not a full takeover.
Luckily OH was working from home, so I had a bit of backup.
Still on NSD 1 as I had popped to the shop for some top up milk and bread…and some ice lollies – essential "feeling rubbish" supplies in our household.
We also had a takeaway (because none of us were cooking in this house tonight) and DS even managed a couple of slices of pizza! So far it’s stayed down – touch wood.
Here’s hoping we actually get some shut-eye tonight because we are ALL absolutely burst!
Grateful for DS eating some food, for manager telling me to take the day off, for OH being around for backup, and for ice lollies!

Third NSD today.
i said No to son sleeping here last night. He needs to follow the childcare agreement and talk to his Dad. He’s back here again though, but says it’s just to see his girlfriend (no sign of her yet). I expect I’ll find him here in the morning as I’m heading to bed early (sciatica and strong pain killers) and won’t be awake to encourage him back to the ex.
I am grateful for having had a day to myself to focus on work and home. I am grateful to son for promising to do the last dog walk so that I can go to bed. I am grateful for my bed and the relief from sciatic pain I hope it will bring.MBNA 237.47/13997.47

NSD #3 today. Money left my account, but this was distributing inheritance from DMum between me and my brothers, and repaying a pension overpayment received in her account after she passed, so as it’s not actually my money leaving my accounts, I’m not counting it as a spend.
Another quiet day today as still not 100%. Will be a busy day tomorrow as have blood test, work call, need to pack for weekend away, get petrol, pick up library books and do some more financial admin.
Grateful for receiving my 2025 calendar which has pictures from a holiday I went on earlier in the year, getting a small inheritance from Mum which has replenished some savings, and being able to repay overpayment to pension company as that was starting to weigh on me and I was thinking of paying it out of my own money.10 -
Hi lovely people. I am on nsd #5 today. Been busy rushing around. I find mid-week crazy busy but it’s probably because I take on too much. Turron sounds yummy, I shall have to see if I can locate something similar in England sounds like something you might be able to find at a Christmas market or in the middle aisle of a popular supermarket. Need to get on listing some more items this month to try to remove 10 things from my house.Hugs to all the people feeling poorly, this time of year is terrible for bugs and colds.Mortgage free wannabee 2022 #829
