I was all set to do Fri morning weigh ins but then my app was asking me to weigh in this morning and I was curious so just went for it 😅. So Thursdays it is.6 days in = 3lb weight loss which I’m happy with!
I’m now 11st 4lb. So 5lb to go to change that start number, which conveniently also is the weight that puts me in “overweight” rather than “obese”. Would love to be there by Christmas! It’s also a good milestone as I think it would mean I’ve lost all my “pandemic weight” (a couple of years ago I was at a high of 12st 5lb which I’d gotten to through comfort eating and endless baking during lockdown 🙈).Just under 11 stone = the weight I was in Mar 2020, when I was struggling to lose the baby weight from Bambi even though she was 1 by then. (In my defence, she DID NOT sleep well nor could I put her down so cake was my solace 😆).Just under 10 stone = the weight I was when I got pregnant with her in early 2019.
Just under 9 stone = the weight I was before I had the kids, when I was a healthy BMI and fit and active… those were the days 😆. I managed to get back to this weight easily post-partum when breastfeeding Monkey and walking everywhere with a pram/sling but then I learned to drive and once I stopped breastfeeding it went back on, alas, as I kept eating for two!Part time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018

@beanielou - Can you not put your cat in one of the rooms and shut it in so you can use the robot hoover. So much easier with animals out of the way I would have thought! It's what I would have done had we still had animals!
That's a good weight loss for your first week (well 6 days!) @Bluegreen143. There's no reason why you can't lose that 5lb by Christmas if you continue eating the way you currently are. SW definitely seems to work well when we stick to it!

Fingers crossed Joedenise 🤞🏼.
I’m thinking ahead to the weekend because I want to prepare for the dieting challenges.Friday - I have to take Bambi to a kids’ birthday party 5-7pm. This means it will be about 8pm before I get to eat dinner as I don’t want to order softplay food! I think I will either have a banana before I go or take one with me. And maybe save a HEA and take a tub of cheese to nibble on too. Or if I don’t use my HEB I could take a measured tub of nuts.Sunday - out for lunch with my dad and papa. There aren’t salads or anything on the menu so I’m going to order a Sunday roast and enjoy it, but steer clear of starters and desserts. The portions are big so no need to stuff myself with extra courses. I’ll be driving so will stick to drinking water anyway.
Sunday evening - Monkey has a party 6-8pm! Hopefully I’ll be full from a late lunch out but I will take free or healthy extra snacks to keep me going if not.Part time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018

Good idea thinking about the weekend ahead @Bluegreen143. Sunday roast is one of the good meals to eat when you're out. Carvery is even better because you can fill your plate with veg and lean meat leaving very little room for roasties and/or yorkies which are the high syn items. I don't use gravy so that's never a problem for me but if you do like a bit of gravy remember it's likely to have been made with the meat juices and probably some fat too.1

Yes, unfortunately it’s not a carvery. I seem to remember the roast turkey comes with a Yorkshire pudding and a stuffing ball. I could of course ask not to have those on my plate and to have extra veg instead but I’m not sure I want to 🙈🤣Part time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018

Evening all 😁
Bloody freezing here today!
Well done Bluegreen, fab loss 👏👏
Beanie yes i was lucky yesterday.
Denise have a lovely weekend.
Bluegreen, we have to live, cut down syns on other days and it will even out over the week, we are also coming up to a difficult time of the year and it's a case of good when we can. I am not a person for going out much and i don't have children and i always think it must be more difficult when you have small children , i don't drink,(god i sound boring 🤣🤣) but when i go out i have what i want and cut down the rest of the week. I rarely use many syns a day anyway.
Food today
Picky plate, free
banana

Food looks good Bubbs and you are very right. Not only is December tricky because of Christmas, but both my children have December birthdays. So there are parties and cake. I’m still glad I began now though, at the very least I’ll hopefully be starting the new year with a bit less to lose than if I’d waited to begin on the 1st Jan!Today’s food:
B - blueberry overnight oats topped with banana (0.5 HEA, HEB, 0.5 Syn)
L - tuna sweetcorn & red onion pasta with carrots & tomatoes, topped with 15g cheddar (0.5 HEA, 1 syn)
D - spaghetti bolognaise with green beans topped with 15g parmesan (0.5 HEA)
1.5 syns in total which I’m pleased with (1tbsp LTL mayo plus 1tsp maple syrup)! Over 10k steps too.Forgot a pic of breakfast but it was the same as Tuesday except purple rather than pink due to being blueberry based. My lunch plate was a medium size plate btw (or like a largish side plate - not sure what they are for but I use them for lunch or kids meals!) so not as huge as it looks!Wouldn’t normally double pasta but it was that or go off plan 🤷♀️. Shopping came today so nice new food in.Part time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018
