Evening all 😁
Hope you had a lovely day Denise.
Jelly, hope you had a good time?
TIE, what a waste of time, guessing you won't get results on Tuesday but least you will have had your scan.
I meant to say about the frylight in ffoods and forgot,i got some in the week.
Well i only went and lost another half this week, so right at the bottom of target now, i had a snackaccident last week too with the cookies , but was good all week.Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:1 -
Had a nice, if not SW friendly day! Was lovely to see DD1 and DGD - what we didn't know was that DGD was picking up DD2 on the way to her mum's. Been a couple of years since we've seen both DDs and DGD at the same time and that was a Christmas as our place!
Must admit that the Christmas market wasn't much to write home about and definitely didn't have the atmosphere on the German or Belgian Christmas markets that we've done in the past. Thinking about looking online to see how much it would be for Eurostar to Bruges to go to the market there - it's only about a 10 minute walk from Bruges station so would make a great day out - but it will probably be too expensive to do unfortunately! Today's syns have definitely been way over so will have to be careful for the rest of the week!
Well done on your loss @bubbs but looks like you might need to up your syns a bit to make sure you don't drop out of bottom end of target!
Sorry to hear you had a wasted time at the hospital @TakeItEazy. Hopefully the scan will show what the problem is next week.1 -
Oh how lovely Denise, what a nice surprise 😁
It was this time last year i kept losing and ending up lowering my target, honestly i am just so busy! The next few weeks will be manic. If i keep losing i'll drop it again and then i will be pre covid weight, i have not been this weight since covid!Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:2 -
I've been on line and the trip would just be too expensive - it's over £100 each just for the train from St Pancras and I'm not sure how much it is from here but the last time I looked it was over £30 each! Would have been lovely to surprise DH with the trip but unfortunately it's a no go - especially with going away in January for 2 weeks!

Well done on your loss @bubbs. 👏👏👏 You're already 3lbs towards your next target. Perhaps wait until after Christmas to decide what you want to do. 🤔 Great position to be in though. 👍
You're certainly enjoying your retirement @Jellybaby. Good for you! 😁 You're doing the right thing getting straight back on plan when you can.
How frustrating @TakeItEazy. To think they couldn't even suggest some relief for the d&v you've been having. ☹️
Glad you had a good day @joedenise. Lovely to see both DDs. I know what you mean about the Christmas Markets here . We used to go regularly to the one in Arras on the way back from picking up champagne from Epernay. St Nicholas would land on the roof of the town hall and the atmosphere was amazing.
I did more Bolognese in the SC today so that will help replenish the ready meals.
Today's plan -
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, raspberries (S), banana (F)
L- veggie omelette (P, S), salad (S)
D- haddock (P), hash with potato, onion and tomatoes (F, S), green stuff (S)
Syns - weekend wine 😁1 -
Morning all, it looks drier today and not quite as cloudy so making the most of it by doing a load of washing plus the bedding. Both loads are washed and I just need to get them out on the line but coffee first!
Can I ask how much mince you make when you do it in the SC @maman? The reason I ask is that to make it worthwhile using the SC you need to add a good amount, I'm thinking in terms of probably a Kg plus loads of veg. Am I in the right ballpark figure?
Today's plan:
B - fry up - P; S; F; 1
L - LO beef stew, mash - P; S; F (I got it out for yesterday before DH said about going to Canterbury!)
D - Honey/mustard roasted gammon, roast potatoes, roasted veg, green veg - P; S; F (I SC'd the gammon yesterday)
HEA - milk
HEB - none planned
Syns - LF sausage 1
Trying to keep the syns low after yesterday's high syn day!
Have a good day everyone.

Good luck with reining in the syns @joedenise. I'm hoping for a decent week on plan. I'm going to Bournemouth on Wednesday so will have lunch out but I'm hoping to find something SW friendly.
It's dry and bright here today too but no washing as DD1 is still doing it for me.😍
I'm really mean with the meat for Bolognese. I don't have a huge SC but I reckon on making 4 meals at a time (8 portions) with a few tbsps taken out for me to have on a JP like I did today. I use 250g of mince plus a few handfuls of lentils and all the veg. I could probably get more into the SC but I tend to portion the meat up that size for the freezer as it's just right for Bolognese, savoury mince or making burgers. The meals are 400g (which is roughly the size of a tin or the average ready meal) and I often add extra mushrooms when I'm reheating.
Excuse scruffy SC. I will get a new one when I get around to it!😁

Oops forgot to post menu!
B- HEB toast, 2 fried eggs (P), baked beans (F), HEA milk for drinks
L- JP (F), Bolognese sauce (P,S), salad (S)
D- liver and onions (P,S), potatoes (F), carrots, cauli, broccoli, cabbage (S)
Syns- granule gravy 4, weekend wine😁1 -
Afternoon all 😁
It's bloody freezing today!
Yummy Maman. I won't change it till after Christmas if i do. I knew i was the lowest weight for this last year but just found my old book, i am lowest since covid 👏👏
I have some carrot and coriander soup on ready for tomorrow when i come back from deliveries as guessing it will be freezing!
I have put the meat in the oven for tea, pork, small piece of gammon i got from the company shop the other week, made dh a apple crumble and put a rice pudding in for me, so an oven full 😁
