Morning all, lovely day today - it's so nice to see the sun again. A machine load of washing done and out on the line to dry. Not long put it out so not convinced it will dry but if not can go on the airer overnight. Not doing anything else today as looking after my friend's 2 dogs as she's gone to a funeral in London. No idea what time she'll be back but it won't be until early evening at least as the funeral isn't until about 3pm.
Today's plan:
B - breakfast hash - P; S; F
L - fajitas - HEB; P; S
D - toad in the hole, mash, veg - S; F; 6.5
HEA - milk
HEB - wrap
Syns - sausages 2; flour 4
Have a good day everyone.

Pleased to hear that you've got an appointment @TakeItEazy. Keep us posted. 🤗
Good to hear from you @Coxy11. 🤞all goes well with your move.
We've been going back to the same resort in Turkey for years @joedenise, feels like a home from home. I'm sure you'll enjoy Lanzarote.
I've had SW breakfast (fry up) and lunch (JP with tuna and salad) but we're eating out tonight so I'll have what I fancy and wine syns will be involved. 😁0 -
Afternoon all 😁
Just popping in now while i have 5 mins
Turned real nippy, weather says it's going to be botter next week, Brrr!! Gas was filled up today so least thats not a worry .
Coxy good luck with the move.

Hi hi everyone.
good luck with the move Coxy. It’s blummin’ awful until you get settled. Last time we moved - 20 years ago - my hubby said “next move will be chapel of rest” it’s a bit like childbirth though, you do forget.
Ive weighed in this morning and lost 0.25 lbs. A loss is a loss and I’ll take it 🤗
jacket spuds and bitsa tonight and tomorrow we are eating out at a friends house. No Ida what but I’m now in the mindset of enjoy it and move on. 4.75lbs to get to the bottom of target and I’m really hoping to do it before Christmas and then there is a bit of wriggle room for all the festivities
In other news - and a fab NSV - I bought a new reversible gilet today. Really cosy, black on one side and grey on the other but the best bit is it is a size M. I tried the L but it drowned me even with a thick sweater underneath. It zips up beautifully with no pulling across the boobage and I’m really chuffed. (Can you tell) it’s a brand I’ve had before so I don’t think it’s just big sizing. I’ve noticed my shape is still changing even being at target for well over 2 years. Right, off to chop a bit of salad and mix up the tuna crunch filing.0 -
Well done on your NSV @Matron_Midge and your wee loss!😁
I think you're right about 'enjoy it and move on'. I'm happy to use syns and go well over at times provided I enjoy them. 👍🏼
We enjoyed our meal out last night. I had prawn cocktail as a starter but then decided to have the mushroom and stilton pie rather than a more SW friendly option. I did enjoy it and I usually allow myself a bit of leeway when I know I'm well in range.
The kitchen is almost finished but not really operational as the sink isn't plumbed in. I'm planning to start using the oven and hob this week, when I can, but it's difficult to guarantee access for all meals as trades are still coming in and out. I've done my meal plan and shopping list for later but made it flexible enough that I can manage/make changes if I have to.
Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, 2 eggs (P), mushrooms and tomatoes (S)
L- ham (P), LO veg and pickles (F,S)
D- keema curry and rice (P,F,S), SW chips (F)
Syns- mango chutney 2?, weekend wine😁0 -
Afternoon all, where has the morning gone! Probably didn't help that I was on the phone to my sister for over an hour first thing - she phoned about 5 minutes after I'd finished breakfast!
Got most of my washing dry overnight on the airer apart from a thick jumper and the waistband of DH's trousers so everything else is folded and put away. Have also had the plumber here servicing the boiler and he's not been gone long. I also needed to pop out to the farm shop as had run out of potatoes so I also picked up some onions and carrots for the weekend as I'm planning on doing the gammon joint I bought a while back. Will just chuck that in the slow cooker on Sunday morning I think.
I weighed this morning and pleased to say I've lost lb this week, no idea how but I'll take it and run. Of course I'm still out of range but just that bit closer!
Great NSV @Matron_Midge and a small loss as well, well done.
Today's plan:
B - Weetabix, milk, grapes - HEA2; HEB; F
L - stuffed peppers - S; F
D - HM faggots, mash, veg - P; S; F; 2
HEA1&2 - milk
HEB - Weetabix
Syns - gravy 2 (don't usually have but the faggots are cooked in gravy); may have some wine but not sure 12?
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Frylight was 99p in my local Farmfoods today and tenderstem broccoli 29p for 160g pack. Worth a look if you have a branch near you.
I didn’t do the planned chips tonight to go with the curry, CBA when I got home and put away all the shopping it was almost 6pm. Added some extra mushrooms to the curry so we had enough to eat.
Planning to batch cook Bolognese in the SC tomorrow as we're running out of HM ready meals.0 -
Morning all, up early this morning as DH had a Physio appointment at 9.20 this morning and wanted to have breakfast before we left. Not going away in the motorhome after all we're just going to go down later today in the car - I'm sure it'll be long enough for the markets. We're going to pop into DD1s as well, not sure whether that will be before or after we go to Canterbury!
Today's plan:
B - fry up - P; S; F; 1
L - eat out so not idea but probably chicken and Mediterranean salad
D - SC gammon, potatoes, carrots and green veg - P; S; F
HEA - milk
HEB - none planned
Syns - lunch ? wine 5 (will probably have a Prosecco at lunchtime)
Have a good day everyone.

Afternoon all, just back today from a few days in London. An unexpected trip but thoroughly enjoyed it. Obviously didn’t make class this morning but weighing on my friend’s scales I think I’ve probably put two on. I’m okay with that as I enjoyed it all but will be working hard this week to get it, and more, off.
Using up bits and bobs in the fridge dinner is looking like it will be a baked potato with prawns and salad. A few syns for homemade Marie Rose sauce. The fact there’s no wine syns - unlike the last few days - to count today will help 🤣
I think this week we will just eat from the freezer and cupboards to clear some space. I’d like to defrost and clean ready for Christmas.
Hope you are all well. Will pour a coffee and catch up on posts.

Afternoon all! Hospital appointment was pants, 40 minutes in total mostly sat by myself in consultation room 😤. Dr prodded my stomach, made me repeat questions he already knew answers to then disappeared to ‘consult’ his colleague 🙄. When he eventually came back just to say I had to wait for scan results then get my Dr to refer back again. To say I was fuming is an understatement 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Scan is on Tuesday 🤞🏻Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
