Got colder as the day went on today but Maman 10 degrees bloody hell that's summer 😂😂 was 4 here! But hissing it down since about 4 🙄

Forgot to say, no argument with calor yet......... they came and filled us up Friday, while i was out today they turn up again 🤣🤣 we either have none or they come twice within a couple of days, dh said to the driver they don't know what they are doing! He said no they don't they sent me to Bedford to fill up a house it was filled yesterday!!

Meant to say about this the other day When we went shopping Friday, the couple infront of us, i was mesmerised by there shopping, it was £152 😱😱 the only fruit and veg was a net of oranges and net of lemons, there was NOTHING else you could make a meal from, it was all junk! I said to DH about it, he said but we are all different 😂 and it was a small trolley!!

Just jumping in to say I have the sear and stew one and it’s great, I don’t tend to brown my meat in it I just do it in the pot then put it into the slow cooker.  The thing I love about it is the bowl is metal and very light and so easy to clean and doesn’t scratch. I got mine in b&m for around £24ish.  Willow

My DGD has just What's App'd us to say that it's snowing in London!  It's hissing it down here and has been since about 8 o'clock last night.  No doubt they'll be a flooded road near the farm shop on way to shopping!  Wonder if they'll have put traffic lights up again so the cars can avoid the worst of it and just have alternate traffic!  Will find out later.

Sorry you have snow @bubbs but soooo glad I don’t!  Pass it on to somewhere else. I hate driving in it. Where I live I’m either sliding up, down, in or out 🤣 Was a bone chilling -3 when I left for town at 9 this morning and now sitting at a balmy 3 degrees 😁

Met a friend for coffee and she always insists we have ‘something’ so settled on having a bacon roll. Except today she had the dentist and only bought the coffees haha. Came home and scoffed a bacon roll with mushrooms and tomatoes on the side, so all on plan.

Now going to have a read of my book before tackling the cupboard of doom in the hall, it’s needing a really good clear out.  Dinner tonight is a chicken, chorizo and bacon pasta bake concoction to use up bits in the fridge and I’ll use a couple of portions of tomato sauce from the freezer. Syns in chorizo and using second HEXA for cheese.

Afternoon all, glad it's only raining here but it's still really cold.  Just so glad we don't have snow - absolutely hate it and if it gets bad we're stuck indoors until it clears a bit and really don't want that to happen.

Been shopping this morning and have bought a huge bottle of Prosecco for Christmas - 1.5l (so equivalent of 2 bottles) for £10 instead of £20.  At least there will be 3 of us to be drinking it!  DD1 will be driving (and doesn't like wine!) so won't be drinking anything.

Today's plan:

B - boiled eggs, bread and LF spread - HEB; P; 2.5
L - brunch hash - P; S; F
D - beef stifado, mash, green veg - P; S; F

HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - LF spread 2.5; may have a couple of G&Ts 6?

Lots of snow here,  but started thaw late morning. OH and I walked dog in the snow (2.25 miles) and stopped for coffee by the river, sat inside today though.
I just typed food for the day and lost it so will give up and get on with online shop.

Well the snow settled, but then it hissed it down, but now its really baltic, DH is never cold, always in short sleeves and even he is cold and has a sweatshirt on! 

He went out to turn the water off to the washing machine so it doesn't freeze and bugga the machine up! and he said i have not felt the cold like that for years .
