Morning all, it's a wee bit brighter this morning so decided to get a load of washing done and out on the line but not sure it's going to do much as it's just hanging there but hopefully it will get the worst of it out so that it dries overnight on the airer.

Glad you enjoyed the Choc chip cookies @bubbs - it's only 2 days syns so you can easily pull that back during the week as you don't seem to use many usually.

I fancied a G&T last night but knew I'd used quite a few syns so was good and had the 0% gin which is only 0.5 syns for a double.  I don't like tonic on it's own so at least it takes the edge off the flavour so definitely worth the syns for me!  I don't drink any other fizzy drinks at all.  I've had to order some more as the bottle is nearly empty and it's cheaper from Amazon than from Tesco!  Also ordered DH a bottle of expensive rum for Christmas - he's been after that for some time so that will be his present this year!

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up - P; S; F; 8!
L - LF burger, onions, gherkin slices in soft pitta - HEB; S; 0.5
    D - roast pork, roast potatoes, veg - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - soft pitta
Syns - M&S sausage 8; burger 0.5; may have a cereal bar with a cuppa later if I fancy it 4 (glad to say that's the last of the M&S sausages!)

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning all :D

Yes Denise they were lovely and free and was my birthday treat from M&S app, i did share with DH though.
My sister and I was talking and said it's crazy alot of things are cheaper on Amazon, so we order them and have them delivered to the door! No lugging about.

Dunno what i am eating miday yet, but we have pork for tea, the pork we have been getting half price from Sainsburys is delicious

My pork is from the half price Sainsbury offer as well @bubbs.  I picked up a big piece and cut into 3 joints, each of which is big enough to do 2 meals for both of us.  There may even be a bit left for a sandwich or 2 but we'll see how greedy we are with the roast today and sweet and sour tomorrow!

How are you feeling @TakeItEazy? Any outcome from your tests? 🤔

I'm the same @joedenise, tonic is the only fizzy drink I have except for occasional fizzy water as my go to in a pub if I'm not having wine (which is rare 🤣).

Glad you enjoyed the cookies @bubbs. They wouldn't have my choice for using 30 syns but we're all different.

My back is much improved since Friday but still a bit sore so I'm taking it easy today. I do feel up to cooking dinner today. Yesterday, I had a banana for lunch and a JP for dinner and DH had the chicken ping he'd have had if I'd been out dancing.

    Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, eggs (P), baked beans (F), HEA milk for drinks
    L- pasta salad (P, F, S)
    D- chicken (P), new potatoes (F), veg (S)
    Syns - granule gravy 4

I may have wine syns later if I feel up to it but painkillers make me woozy enough without the expense or the syns. 🤣

Maman, who said i was counting them , they were a whoosh, been and gone 😂😂 like Denise says i don't have many syns in the week so should be ok.

Glad you back is feeling a bit better 😁

Denise i don't have room for anything in the freezer but previous weeks i have bought a bigger piece and cut in 2, so still have some pieces in there and rather than using that i will save that while it's on offer and buy a new joint for dinner 😂

Hadn't realised it was still on offer @bubbs.  Going to Sainsbury's this week so will have a look to see what they've got.  Unfortunately the joint I roasted today seemed to have shrunk a bit so not enough for the planned sweet and sour tomorrow night!  There's only enough for some sandwiches so definitely need to change the menu plan over the next couple of days!

Glad your back is feeling a bit better @maman; definitely best to rest it a while longer.

Good morning, came home yesterday from last break of the year, had a good few days, caravan will be put to bed over the nest week or two.

OH is joining me from today in loosing some weight, I now have about 5lbs to get off and him about 1/2 stone.  I checked this morning, obviously mis-calculated and find I have run out of SW weeks, I should have gone last week (just shows how time seems to be whizzing by. I don't really want to pay a joining fee and weekly subs. My first thoughts are to go it alone here, the App has been useful, but think I know enough now to get by, I have some SW recipe books for making from scratch and best for my health if I avoid treats/snacks as much as possible anyway.  I think I might be better off using the money for subs for healthy food - Just checked the App has been taken off - they don't mess about my 8 weeks was up last Tuesday.

Back later, WI to be done and washing to put out, have a good day.

Morning all, it's definitely brighter this morning but still quite damp.  Have currently got the bedding from the motorhome in the wash and will hang out once that's done.  Definitely needed to get it done as it's been hanging around in the wash bin since Thursday or Friday!  The bed has already been remade - did that over the weekend so we're ready to go next weekend once I've put some food and clothes in!

This thread is good for keeping track @maddiemay which is what I've been doing all this year.  Not quite as successful as going to group but that's partly because of going away and eating out so much!  AI holidays have a lot to answer for!!!  Give it a go and you can always go back at a later date if you find it's not working for you.

Have had to change the meal plan as I said last night as not enough pork left for the sweet and sour I was planning so today will be:

    B - porridge, fruit - HEB; S; F
    L - 2 pea soup (from freezer) - S; F
    D - jacket potato, cottage cheese followed by jelly, fruit and yoghurt - P; F; S; 0.5

    HEA - milk
    HEB - porridge
Syns - jelly 0.5; not sure what else but no doubt will have something

    Have a good day everyone.
