Morning all, what a miserable grey day today.  Still have washing that needs doing but as I needed to be out early didn't have time to do it and hang out so decided to leave it until tomorrow.  Was running late as so often happens when I need to get out earlier than usual that we ended up having breakfast in Spoons before shopping!

Yesterday didn't end within syns as DH and I ended up finishing off a packet of chocolate coated oaties - thin I ended up having 4 or 5 so very definitely over syns!  Really not expecting a loss this week after all this week.

    Today's plan:

    B - Spoons Freedom breakfast - P; S; F; 4
    L - stuffed peppers - HEA2; S; F
D - baked salmon, air fried potato cubes, stir fried garlic beans with soy sauce - P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - none planned
    Syns - hash browns 4

    Have a good day everyone.

    Evening all 😁

Denise we could do with a nice cold sunny day, makes it feel brighter, don't mind a frost when it's nice and sunny!

Had a message from doctors i need to have a blood test 🤔 no idea why, but just booked it online, we have to go to the hospital for next Tues at 8.20!! thought it would be weeks, there was some this week but middle of the day, thought that time i'd be able to park better!

Going company shop tomorrow, can't get much as freezer full unless they have some fridge stuff 🫰🫰

    Food today
Cheese and ham toastie, hexa and hexb
If you have an omelette maker , soft pitta fit in a treat
Sausage casserole, hubby asked for it again. These sausages were big but apart from 3 for the mix I've had no other syns today.
Sausages are from local butcher and 0.5 normally

    Hi all

Joining you for the last few weeks of 2024. My scales are out of batteries so no idea what I weigh, but I know it's too much as I don't fit in any of my clothes any more :disappointed:

So, started yesterday as follows and will likely be the same today (tea will be different but I don't know what yet, maybe pasta):

Couch to 5k week 1 day 1 - always start here after going off the rails
Breakfast - 1 slice wholemeal toast (HEXB), marmite, raspberries (S), coffee with Minor Figures oat milk (HEXA)
Lunch - HM vegetable and bean soup - say 1 syn as put a tiny bit of gravy in, otherwise free and speed
Tea - Shakshuka with sweet potato wedges and green bean salad - free and speed
Snacks - two Babybel Lights (HEXA), carrots and houmous, roasted broccoli stalks, FF yoghurt and raspberries

    Have good days everyone!

Welcome along @lilian1977 your tea sounds lovely! You obviously know the plan well and this group is brilliant for keeping focussed.

Had gammon steak and salad when I was out for lunch yesterday and wasn’t hungry enough for dinner  so just had fruit and yoghurt. Out again today and it will be trickier this time as I’ll be in a garden centre. Fingers crossed they do baked potatoes 😁

Once I’m back I’m starting a deep clean of the kitchen - which will probably take me several days 🤣 If I’m hungry at dinner time there’s plenty I can pull from the freezer.

Thank you 😊  Yes have been on and off the wagon for about 10 years but it never, ever sticks, however I know that a few weeks of it will get me back on the straight and narrow, exactly what I need before Christmas!

Morning all, another grey miserable day but still had to do some washing.  Did 2 loads and all out on the line but not sure it will dry as there is no breeze so it's just hanging there.  No doubt it will end up on the airer overnight again to finish off.

Welcome @lilian1977.  I've been doing SW since 2010 and was in target up until the beginning of the year but struggling to get back there - only over by a few lbs but they just don't want to shift!  Eating out quite often or being on holiday can play havoc with the plan!

Not sure what bread you're using but assume it's a large wholemeal loaf.  There are a few large wholemeal loaves that you can use as HEB  and have 2 slices - I use Morrison's own brand medium sliced; Neville's wholemeal from Tesco is also HEB, again 2 slices and I think there's one from Aldi as well but not sure about that.

    Today's plan:

    B - cheese omelette - HEA2; P
    L - bacon & tomato sandwich - HEB; P; S
    D - LO roast chicken, chips, beans, mushrooms - P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
    Syns - none planned

    Have a good day everyone.

Welcome @lilian1977, good to have you along. It's a good idea to start Couch to 5K alongside the healthy eating, it'll get you in the right frame of mind.

@joedenise  is right about the range of wholemeal bread that allows 2 slices for a HEB. I buy the Aldi Essentials wholemeal. That would mean you could have a slice with your soup at lunchtime or split it and have some Ryvita or similar with your cheese or hummus.

I'm assuming you don't go to a group as you know the plan. Do ask if you need any syn values or anything else.

I'm at target and only go to official WI every 8 weeks or so. I don't weigh at home but I have discovered that my GP surgery (which is just down the road) has some super scales which give a print out of your height and weight so I've been keeping track with those. Clean jeans are always a good indicator of a gain too!🤣

It's WI for me tomorrow. It's a week early as I'm busy next Thursday but I'm hopeful I'm still in range.

I'm delighted when I find a café or pub that does JPs @Jellybaby. Hope you're lucky at the garden centre. 🤞🏼

Not 100% sure what my menu will be today. We're waiting on a painter arriving but last time he came it was after another job and he was late arriving and leaving which messed up plans for dinner as I had to go out. The good news is that, although we had no water all day yesterday, we now have water back downstairs in the new shower room. So that, at least, saves us trekking up and down the stairs.

    Today's plan (subject to change😉)-
    B- HEB porridge, HEA1 milk, berries (S), banana (F)
L- ham (P), LO veg and pickles (F,S)
    D- Spaghetti Bolognese (P,S,F), HEA2 Parmesan
    Syns-0
