I suppose things have mounted up while you were incapacitated for a while @maddiemay. Enjoy your break and come back raring to go. 😁

I had 3.5 stone to lose @winterbear95. I did in just under a year but that was with breaks (and subsequent gains😉) for holidays. Are you aiming for a particular date or occasion?🤔

You'll notice that some of us on here use a weekly syn bank rather than daily. It's not the official SW way but it's worked for me. I find I don't need 15 syns a day but I do like something to look forward to at the weekends so I tend to have loads of syns between Friday and Sunday evenings and very few during the week.

I posted the other day that Aldi skinny sausages had disappeared. Instead they have Aldi Specially Selected Lean Pork Sausages at 1.5 syns for 2 sausages but I think I'll be sticking with the Sainsbury's BGTY at 1 syn each as (surprisingly) they're better value for money and 8 sausages in a pack suits me better than 6.

I called in to Lidl this morning as Aldi seem to have stopped doing the High Protein sandwich thins that are a HEB. They still have them in Lidl fortunately. I picked up a couple of jars (2 varieties) of the tomato and basil pasta sauce. At 3 syns a jar, it's worth giving it a try.

    Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, fried eggs (P), baked beans (F), HEA milk for drinks
    L- ham (P), bubble & squeak (F,S), pickles (S)
D- beef in 'red wine' (P,S), new potatoes (F), carrots, cauliflower, cabbage, broccoli (S)
    Syns- cornflour 1, weekend wine😊
  • @Maman health reasons firstly  ( blood pressure etc)
but I’d like to like to lose the weight by next September if possible as I’m going to Italy on holiday wanted to go there for years and finally booked ☺️
im determined to not give up this time 💪

It's definitely doable to get to your target by next September. Good luck!!

You'll love Italy. I've been several times for city breaks and a longer holiday. The food is fantastic too. 🤔🤣

Good afternoon all, got back from our weekend away about an hour ago.  Have had a lovely weekend and some friends turned up yesterday so we all spent the evening with them - this of course a bit more wine was consumed than was originally planned so need to cut back during the weekend again!!!!

We've eaten out each day but I've been pretty good with my choices - I've had seabass one day; chicken another and liver and bacon today.

We had a fry up for breakfast so again on plan.  Not feeling hungry so we'll probably just have a cheese and tomato sandwich this evening.

Welcome @winterbear95.  I'm sure you'll do well if you stick with going to group and keep on posting on here.  It helps keep us accountable between groups.  I don't actually go to group any more as got fed up with the traffic to get there - it was in the next town about 15 miles each way!

Getting back on plan for the next couple of weeks until the next weekend away - Christmas lights switch on in Canterbury so a good excuse to get away for the a few days again!  Not that we really need an excuse!

Hope your DH is enjoying not working @bubbs - he's probably finding it a bit weird not having to get up at silly o'clock in the morning - I know I did when I packed up work.

Afternoon all, no idea where the morning has gone!  Well I do as have done 2 machine loads of washing which are both out on the line but not sure they'll dry as it's very overcast and no breeze but hopefully they'll be dryer than they were when they went out.  Will put as much as I can on the airer to finish off but suspect the towels and tea towels may need to go in the tumble dryer.

Hope those who have been poorly are feeling a bit better now.

I suspect I've put on as much as I had lost with what I have eaten and drunk over the weekend but we'll see on Friday morning!

    Today's plan:

    B - breakfast hash - P; S; F
    L - toasted cheese sandwich, pickles - HEA2; HEB; S
    D - roast chicken dinner - P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
    Syns - biscuits 4

    Have a good day everyone.

Same here @joedenise, dull but dry with no breeze at all. You seem to have found places to eat over the weekend that offered reasonably good SW choices so hopefully you won't see too much of a gain by the end of the week. 🤞🏼

Things are moving along with the extension. Still nothing working in the kitchen but there is progress. Plumbers are doing the new shower room today and work tops are due to come on Friday.

    Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, scrambled eggs (P), tomatoes (S), HEA milk for drinks
    L- LO beef casserole (P,F,S)
D- salmon (P), fried potatoes (F), mushrooms, tomatoes, onions, green stuff (S)
    Syns- 0

I should really have been reporting 1 syn a day as DH has got into the habit of giving me a small square of 70% chocolate from his little bar (7 syns) every night after dinner. 🥰

Morning all, didn’t get a chance to post yesterday but stayed on plan.

I cleaned all the windows inside and out and slept like a log last night! Today is another busy one; a couple of appointments in town, meeting an old work colleague for lunch then home to clean the oven! I know how to enjoy myself 🤣🤣 The day is all things I’ve been putting off so happy to get on with them now. At least no washing, it’s raining - of course.

Lunch is in a spoons type of place so should be OK and depending on how hungry I am, will decide on dinner later.

    Have a good day everyone!
