At least you've tried @TakeItEazy, hopefully you'll see someone tomorrow or as @joedenise said get someone to call you. Try to stay hydrated even if you don't feel like eating. It's not like you to take time off school.🤗
Good luck to you and your DH with your new targets @maddiemay. 😁
I haven't tried the hob or oven yet @joedenise. They are both working but not convenient for me to get into the kitchen during the day because of the trades working and, with my back, I've not felt like it in the evening. I'll have to get some new pans too as most of mine aren't suitable. They are stainless steel but not the magnetic sort. As I bought them in BHS and my favourite casserole pot from Woolworths then I've had my moneys worth! 🤣
My back is improving but every time I think it's sorted then I get a painful twinge to remind me. I'm hoping to go dancing tonight.🤞🏼 One thing about the muscle relaxants @beanielou is that they help me to sleep soundly. I've slept right through the last couple of nights.
Today's plan-
B- HEB porridge, HEA1 milk, berries (S), banana (F)
L- veggie omelette (P,S), salad (S)
D- Spaghetti Bolognese (P,S,F), HEA2 Parmesan
Syns- maybe a bit too much HEA as DH makes the porridge with milk but not too worried.0 -
Afternoon all, very quiet on here today! I had dentist this morning, just a routine check up and all good so just over £50 for both of us gone. Popped into the Drs to see about getting the shingles vaccination for DH and I but apparently we're going to have to wait until we're 75 before we get it even though the adverts all seem to be saying anyone between 70 and 79 which we both are so going to have to wait a couple of years (DH) and 3 years (me).
Bumped into one of the ladies I used to go to group with this morning as we were walking back to the car and was pleased when she said it looked as though I was managing to stick to plan seeing as I haven't been to group for nearly a year!
DH and I have been chatting about holidays for next year and have decided we want to go away for Christmas so been looking and have booked to go away for 2 weeks over Christmas next year! We would have like to have booked for Christmas and New Year but it just worked out far too expensive.
Anyway back to SW matters and today's plan:
B - scrambled eggs on toast - HEB; P
L - roast pork and apple sandwich - P; 8!
D - sausage toad, mash, veg - S; F; 6.5
HEA1 & 2 - milk (used some to make a cappuccino)
HEB - bread
Syns - bread 7; apple sauce 1; flour 4.5; sausages 2
High syn day but still within today's syn limit (just!).
Have a good day everyone.
PS. Change of plan for dinner - we're going to have braised steak, onions and mushrooms. We'll have the toad tomorrow now instead.

That's exciting @joedenise, where have you booked for? 🤔
That's a definite NSV getting those compliments from a member of your old group. Well done! 👍
I was pleased to get into a skirt for dancing last night that's always tight and uncomfortable when I'm at the top of range. It's lined with a fixed waistband and felt great even with my top tucked in. 👍
I'm much better today so hopefully on the mend. 🤞
Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, scrambled eggs, ham (P), tomatoes (S)
D- savoury mince (P, S), mash, peas (F), cauliflower, carrots and broccoli (S)
Syns - 70%chocolate 3.5 (to finish off the bar I started last night 🤣)1 -

Hello everyone – I’m still alive!
We are moving on Monday 18 Nov, but the removals firm are coming on Friday this week for a first load which they’ll store securely over the weekend. We are surrounded by boxes as you can imagine. Food is relatively on plan for 3 daily meals, but I’m snacking a fair bit as have so much going on. Luckily the alcohol has now been packed otherwise I’d be ‘decluttering’ that before we go.
I’m still working full time until 22 November but understandably my boss has said don’t worry about Monday and to do what I can from (new) home next week. I won’t have wifi until Thursday so will be camping out at DSis’s house, apart from Tuesday when I’m in the office for a big meeting and going to WI in the evening.
Tonight we are packing up the kitchen bar what we will need until we go.
Welcome to @winterbear95 and @lilian1977 J
Hope you’re doing okay @TakeItEasy and that your DH is comfortable.
Looks like your building works is nearing completion @maman J I think we might be inheriting an induction hob at the new house….can’t remember!!
Great to hear DH has retired @bubbs and that your little business is booming – whoop.
Thanks for the heads up re: the Canterbury Christmas market @joedenise – we will be visiting at some point once we move – can’t wait.

We're going a bit boring @maman and going back to Lanzarote but to a different hotel but in the same area as we usually stay. Been saying for ages that we will go for Christmas but not done it for a long time. Last time was when DH was still working and he only got 3 days off between Christmas and New Year plus Christmas and New Year were weekends so managed to extend the break to about 10 days so made it long enough to do a quick trip in the motorhome to France. We were really lucky with the weather that year - we were sitting outside the van drinking wine with just a jumper and trousers on and didn't need our coats! Not often you can do that in Northern France at Christmas!
Good to see you back @Coxy11. Good luck with the move and hope you get sorted quickly once you move in. I'm surprised you haven't booked a few days leave for the move! Think you're going to be moving fairly close to me if I remember correctly (Faversham?). I'm looking forward to the Christmas Market at Canterbury but can't go until Sunday now as DH has an appointment on Saturday and we're also going to DD1s to see her and our DGD who will be visiting for the day. DH had promised to make DGD a sourdough loaf next time she was this way and of course it's coincided with when we were supposed to be away. No problem we'll just go Sunday for a couple of days instead.

Up and out early doors today having got OH to put 2 loads of washing out first.
Planned to go directly to Kidderminster, but stopped off at Bewdley first and had a lovely walk along banks of River Severn in the sunshine.
Lunch in K'minster not on plan, not much choice so bacon & chicken panini in coffee shop, no cake eaten today tho'!
Fantastic sunset on the way home (we are situated at river level, with hills around so rarely see one.
Washing was damp, but all on the airers now.
@maman good news re the pain and being able to fit the skirt of choice.
@joedenise lovely to have made Christmas holiday plans for next year.
@Coxy11 hope all goes smoothly with the move, I hope you will be very happy in the new home and that your OH will feel better.
My memory is rubbish these days and I just remembered 2 e-mails I should have sent regarding proposed extended family get-together just after Christmas, I have opened them in draft, hope it comes to mind later! The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)1 -
Went into work today, was a struggle when not eating but at least 1-1 was over the moon to see me 🤗
Also got phone call from hospital so appointment made for Saturday @ General Surgery outpatients (that’s all they said, so no idea what to expect 🥺). 🤞🏻 I get some answers! On the plus side, lost more weight so now just a lb from target 🤗
Colleagues telling me the loss is really noticeable now 🥺Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
