Reading through the NEWBIE sticky and some other posters' threads should allay your fears. IF you lose, the generally accepted cost, once the £70 debt admin fees and incorrectly calculated interest are removed, is about £212. But what is all this talk of losing?

thanks, sorry was a bit stressed out and feeling hopeless earlier, not going to lose this, as you said there are plenty of other cases winning against these idiots, when i talked to dcbl they made it sound like its a no brainer win for them and got a bit scared.

Don't talk to the likes of DCBL (DCB Ltd or DCB Legal)

You can work out what the Judge would possibly award if the D lost all FOUR PCNs (unlikely!). The circumstances of each one must be considered by the Judge.

Just remove 4x £70 and add £85 (pretty sure that's the hearing fee for this size claim).

The NEWBIES thread already tells you that a case lost at a hearing sees the D ordered to pay significantly
less than the claim, as long as he doesn't get a terrible or naive Judge and providing he knows how to argue against the £70 x 4 extortion.

Which he knows because it's in his defence

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

to update, so case has been transferred to our local court (about a month ago), so i guess next step is an actual court hearing and attendance.

But with several PCNs, yes it will be a hearing but you've completely missed out mentioning your WS and evidence stage.

Don't miss that! This is why the NEWBIES Thread has a massive red capitals heading starting with the word IMPORTANT!...
