Hello all, sorry I've been MIA...again!

I got married 7 weeks ago so with the lead up to that (married in Scotland, live in Cornwall), I haven't had much time.

I'm still putting all my loose change in the pot and I'm looking forward to counting it next month.
    Belated congratulations!! <3

I potted 50p that I found in my son’s trouser pocket that he’d dumped in the washing basket.  No idea where it came from but know where it was going!  He knows the rules 🤣

    Hi @Sue-UU, everyone
Gawd It's been a while, but here I am anyway, alive and well. Hope everyone's okay?

I've been meaning to drop by several (100) times and it kept being put on the back burner. I don't want to miss the end of the years savings reveal (again!!) though so need to get in the habit of sticking around a bit more!

Hope life is treating you okay @Sue-UU ?
    @JynErso - Congratulations! :)

I'm actually on holiday a few days before SPC18 comes to an end so I will have to declare a bit early :)

My savings pots are going well, although work dried up a bit during the summer which meant less in my pots.

    Back soon(!!!)
    xx

Brilliant Hetty! As you say, he knows the rules. 😂

    Very well done LMD!

Well I'm blowed James! 😯 I was almost thinking we'd seen the last of you after you didn't declare your Total last October, and as haven't seen you since I honestly didn't think you were returning! 😱
Anyway,  you're back and I'm so very pleased. 😀

I'm not so bad thanks James, all the better for seeing you for sure.
Don't forget to declare on or before October 23rd and be sure to have a wonderful holiday!
    See you soon James. xx

    Have a great week ahead.

Our DGDs are 2 and 4 respectively this week so we had a little family party for them on the weekend. So lovely to see all our grandchildren playing together 😍
A bit of change and £5 in the pot. Enjoy this beautiful September sunshine 🌞

Hello Potters! I hope you're all enjoying a very good week.
To all those of you who are poorly or low in any way, take very great care and get well soon. Very best wishes from us all here on SPC 3

Excellent work LMD! No need to say keep it going to you for sure! 😀 It'll be all go from now on until the 23rd, then starting SPC 19 again on the 24th!! 😱 x
I sincerely hope your hubby is still slowly, but steadily recovering well. Please send him love from all here at SPC. ❤️

I'll bet your grandchildrens birthday party was an absolute delight at the weekend, Siju, bless them both. We've 1 who'll be 5 tomorrow from our younger grandaughter and fiance and a brother 8 and sister 4 both on September 27th from our elder granddaughter and husband, they'll have great fun!

We went with our DD and our eldest granddaughter to Ikea on Monday as DGD has got a little cafe (not bought but rented from their church). The woman there now is leaving so the cafe was open to those who applied and our darling girl was chosen! 🥰 She's been working at a bakery/confectioners for several months but that's throughout the night and she's really tiring herself out.

Now she'll work Tuesday - Friday 9 to 4 and have the evenings and weekends with her husband and the 3 children and she's absolutely thrilled! Monday's will be spent baking bread and a variety of cakes small and large, meals too. She's an extremely talented girl and loves cake baking and icing! We're all absolutely delighted for her and so very proud! 🥰 She pays £40 each day to the church, everything else is expenses  and profit.

So on Monday we scoured Ikea searching for as many of the things needed as possible which are being stored in our spare bedroom! 😀 She's so vey excited but is taking it all in her stride as she's worked at her current shop for so long, but no doubt the nerves will kick in as it gets closer to December. It's a shame her sister is unable to work for her, but with 1 x 6 month old and 1 x 21 month old and no transport, it's sadly not possible. She too works at the same type of shop from 3am - 7am! What talented grandchildren we have with the elder son being a tree surgeon, the middle son working as a teacher in a private school and the younger as an accountant!! 🥰

£20 transferred from our account into our SPC account

Have a WONDERFUL WEEKEND ahead whatever you all do!
