  • Thanks Sue, hubby is still recuperating at home and will still be for some time, he's lost a lot of weight and has no energy. We will get there eventually,  the main thing is that he's still here :)

Hi Potters:) I hope you've had a lovely week and not had too bad a week with rain..
To all those of you who are poorly or low in any way, take very great care and get well soon. Very best wishes from us all here on SPC 3

You're so right Siju, all's well that ends well for sure. 😌 We've been in touch 3 times and they're both so very happy accept for DD having yet another bladder infection, all part of the MS and happens for too often. Luckily, T's younger sister lives in Ringwood so DD rang her to ask if T'sYS could get in touch with our Dr to get a prescription sent to the nearest to a pharmacy at Ringwood for a repeat script. Luckily, it worked out well and T'sYS asked her hubby if he'd take it to them. So, once again all worked out well!

I'm so very pleased your hubby is recovering, albeit slowly LMD. I'm so very pleased he's at home with you.
You did say at the start that it would be very slow, but at least he's home with you.
Once he's eating his energy will gradually pick up, for now though I most definitely wish him the very best, you too. ❤️❤️
Marvelous work with the £44 potted!

£20 transferred from our account to the SPC one. Like last year my Grand Total for this year won't be too much, but sadly, it'll stay that way until (IF ever) the COLC goes down!  :s

    Have a Wonderful Weekend folks!

    Sue

Hello, just wanted to let you know I’m still here and still potting.  I’ve got a regular saver set up for my main pot but sticking the odd bit of change in my piggy bank.  This year has been hard since about April with various life stuff but hoping I’m going to get support with my son’s education and emotional needs.  We have had an assessment done by a social worker and they agreed the support offered by school doesn’t seem enough given he’s got an educational statement.  I kind of foolishly thought once we had the statement in place, which we have had for nearly two years now, I wouldn’t have to battle anymore 😕.  He went back to school a couple of days ago and is cycling there (20 miles a week in total) and is taking a pack up instead of school canteen; saving money and improving health 🤞

That’s a great family support network you have going on there @Sue-UU - Mrs Mac was down Christchurch way visiting her Mum last week. Definitely a lovely part of the World.

Potting is going along nicely here. I love having an all expenses paid trip to look forward to with pot proceeds. It will only be 3 or 4 days away but it’s a nice annual treat and makes potting so worthwhile

The COL crisis is still playing havoc with all our prices Hetty, and I get the feeling it will be for quite some time yet, IF prices ever go down!
Fingers crossed that you're able to get support for DS, it sounds as though he definitely should be.
Sending him off with a packed lunch will certainly help save money, the same as him cycling to school and back!

I quite agree Ant, beautiful indeed.
Good for you with your potting, and I really do agree that using your cash for a 3 or 4 days break is an excellent way to get a free break for you all! 😀

You're welcome LMD.Brilliant potting by the way!

Hello to you Vicky, and brilliant potting for you too! Keep on potting as there's a little way to go yet!! 👏

Have a great Wednesday and Thursday folks!

DH and I have just returned from a lovely relaxing week in Guernsey with a day trip to the beautiful island of Herm. On Wednesday evening there was an air display from the Red Arrows.....absolutely amazing 👏

Not much in the pot this week, but will throw in a bit of change later today 😊

Ah, I guessed you were either poorly or away Siju, though thankfully it was the latter and not the former. I knew something was up as your normal traits were missing. 😉
It sounds as though you really enjoyed yourselves, and I'd never heard of Herm.

We used to love the Red Arrows as they were about at Sidmouth where we used to live some years ago, the children always loved them.
Not to worry about the pot as I know you'll soon top it. Good to see you back.

    Have a Wonderful Weekend folks!
