Hi SPCers! I hope you've had a lovely weekend and a good start to the new week. what a difference to the temperature.
To all those of you who are poorly or low in any way, take very great care and get well soon. Very best wishes from us all here on SPC 3

Many thanks Siju, I know it's natural for all of families to get excited, but by golly some of them (imo) really do go over the top!
With regards to the rain, it absolutely chucked it down here on Wednesday, and as Ant's wife noted, it had done the same with her while Ant was out.
Wales usually gets more than its fair share, so look out!! 😂 The sign of times to come after the extremely hottest summer on record I wonder.

Your wife certainly experienced one heck of a localised shower Ant!! 😯
Mind you, when you think of what we normally have in 'normal' summers we've got a lot to catch up on, not that I'm a Joves comforter or anything. 👀

Oh how lucky you were to have found that £1 coin, 😍 and I'm sure everyone of we potters can relate to your excitement. 😱

Very well done on your Vinted sales madlyn! Well budgeted to gain £1.50 too, keep it up!

    An excellent amount potted LMD!!

Have a Wonderful (though maybe wet) Weekend folks!

    Sue

Another amount from cashback has duly been potted.  End of the month should see a little more potting, but I'll sort that tomorrow.

TopCashback payout (again) has added £7.20 to the pot, and then a sweep of the accounts has come up with another £7.32.  Not bad for a Monday night!

I hope everyone is okay.  As @LittleMissDetermined says, not long to go now! Very exciting!

Goodness me, this year has flown by! How can opening day be almost here 😱 Just wish I was as lucky as @AntoMac with my roadkill 😉 I haven't found anything for years 🤣

Potting another £5 and a bit of extra change this week. Let's hope we haven't seen the end of summer yet 🙄

Well done with the cashback Vicky, plus another amount of cashback too!
A sweep of the accounts as well.
Not bad at all. Good for you!

An excellent amount for you too LMD!!
Not bad at all, and not long at all to go now! I do hope hubby's gradually recovering.

Declaration Day will so soon be upon us Ant, I hadn't realised until you all said about it today.
Good potting for you, everyone else too!

You're right Siju, this year seemed to have flown by, T and I put it down to all the lovely weather we've had, a little more to come back to, but not a heatwave as there won't be 3 or more days. Still, a couple of nice days all the same.
I've had a few small amounts during the year, but nothing like Ant has.
    A brilliant amount potted.

Our DD and hubby went off for a week yesterday to another part of the New Forest. Sadly, we had a phone call about 3/4 of an hour after to say they'd broken down. We drove off to them to find them in a pair of in the picnic chairs they'd they'd taken. They told us the firm had said they'd be there in about 2 hrs, but later rang to say they wouldn't be there until 2 hrs later than that! Our DD told them her parents had been with them a fair while and as they still had a long way to go she asked if they left their key with folk in a nearby house who popped out a few times to see if they were ok, would it be ok if we all continued on and when they arrived, to collect the key and could they take the car back to DD & SIL's home and park it outside, our younger DGS was at home on a day off and would look out for them. They agreed. DD had a phone call half an hour later, the chap was from the original call saying the car was on the wagon ready to travel back to their home!  :s
Anyway about 3/4 hr later the company rang full of apologies saying they'd messed up the times!
An hour and a half later we arrived at their accommodation which was a beautiful shepherd's hut in the NF.
It was gorgeous, they'd have no car but they were so tired and really didn't mind as it was so cosy and they were thrilled with it.
They rang this morning absolutely delighted with it all and a forest walk they'd had. They were so happy and so are we knowing they are.  :)
    Have a great week folks!

    Sue
