@juststuff123 Please can you check the spreadsheet as we have a different total for you to that in your signature - I added the October £2512 to the £-6745 you previously logged (hence £4233). We have £22,620 while your signature shows £22,966

Well done to all those who have met their challenge amounts. @Suffolk_lass even more well done at surpassing your  challenge amount by such a large percentage as has @RunsFromRobots and @Dizzycap.  Any amount is impressive so congratulations to all challenge completers.  What are we all planning for our nest eggs?  Mine is set aside ready to pay for travel if needed or replacement cars. We have an extra source of income next year as my state pension kicks  in February but I will probably still stick with the £12k as we have two big trips planned. China for my nephews wedding and a Danube river cruise.

Massive thanks also go to @Suffolk_lass for helping with updates and doing a fine job on spreadsheet and formatting.  She is going to take the lead on this next year but I will still be around as backup and will be participating again.

I have moved my regular savers money over this morning so my update is
#1       £500 to savings to make a total of £14500.
I will be aiming to increase that to £15k by the end of this month.

    A bit about 2026
It's an easy thread to look after as we all have similar aims. I think it has worked quite well, between @enthusiasticsaver and me, but do feedback any suggestions (we have already agreed to include links to at least one other thread), or things we can improve. If any of our regulars want to move up the spreadsheet in terms of challenge numbers, my thoughts are to fill the top numbers with returners, before adding new savers (it plays better with the OCD element of my personality - my need for things to be tidy in there - I hate the gaps) - so let me know if you are desperate to keep your number (1,2 & 3 won't change for 2026) - before I put the new thread up - on here or PM is fine

    And this year's spreadsheet
I have just updated the conditional formatting so anyone below 90% of their total is amber now, as we enter the final month
