#16 with a late update of £1,427.24 for September.
Still finalising October's figure - haven't been able to login to one of the accounts to grab the amount, but the total for that month should be a hair over £1,000 so will post when I can.2 -
#1 Declaring £1500 for November now we are back from our week in the Canary Islands. A bit chillier here.
Well done all challengers so far and I will update the latest updates in a moment if @Suffolk_lass hasn't already done it. #43 checking in with £850 for October please. It's looking highly likely that the savings are going to be completely derailed for the next two months though 🤔 but for a good reason 😊. Our daughter will be going on a big adventure to do further studies and that feels like a great opportunity for her (while knocking out our saving capacity for the next while). This is what money is for though!ElmoR xx1

How exciting and yes as you say money is ultimately to be used rather than stockpiled aimlessly and an adventure for your daughter sounds like a great life experience.ElmoR said:#43 checking in with £850 for October please. It's looking highly likely that the savings are going to be completely derailed for the next two months though 🤔 but for a good reason 😊. Our Tilly Tidy pot was getting a bit big so I paid cash for a new (to us) truck a week ago. Husband needs to get the little car listed now, we might get a third of the truck cost back if we are fortunate. Ironically the truck is the same year as the car, but more suitable for driving across fields and separating our bees from us when they are being moved. I won't take it off the savings total (which enabled this) as it was planned spend. I might manage the three tons of stone from the current account too, without resorting to another savings top up this week, as grocery spending is under £250 this month (just). Just a few veggies and the regular milkman DD still to come.Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £10,020.92 out of £6000 after September
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £2234.63/£3000 or 74.49% of my annual spend so far (not going to be much of a Christmas at this rate as no spare after 9 months!
