had a great day at the cinema, dragged dh in to see enchanted, he did love it though, it was great.

Then have sat here with dh this past hour or so playing boxing and bowling on the wii, arm now has no feeling left in it:rotfl: did beat dh at boxing though, yes!!

Hello All

Sorry, haven't read anything today. Was at our friend's significant birthday for a while yesterday - I took the 3 DGSs as DD and SIL feeling very poorly with flu type things. It took me half an hour to pack a Granny bag with nappy, wipes etc etc and then get all three into their outdoor gear and car seats! It was a Karting afternoon and DH totally enjoyed himself. He went up for the start and came home about 7.30. He still is aching today having used muscles not used before.

3 DGSs slept over last night and were a dream. The baby went down at 7.00 and not a squeak until 6.30 this morning. Other two about 8.00 and one up at 7.00 and the other at 7.30. Can't complain. Took them home this morning and DD and SIL marginally better.

I am quite tired (being on the go yesterday) so DH and I just waiting up to welcome in 2008 and then bed. I remember the days when we were out until 7.00 am!!!!!!!!! I think some of the best New Years were when kids brought their friends here and we had a party! They knew they were welcome which is more than can be said for some of their parents.

You may have guessed it but I am not a particularly New Year person. It makes me feel sad as I always think of those I have lost. Going to have a quiet day tomorrow and then up to Mum's on Wednesday.

We were woken up during the night. Phone call at 1am, :rolleyes: phone call at 2am :rolleyes: and then phone call at 3am. :rolleyes: It was either YS phoning slightly intoxicated :rolleyes: or someone had the wrong number. I will have strong words with YS next time I talk to him. Only Mother can play those pranks.
