EDF Sunday Saver

EDF are still maintaining that my smart meter blipped, and there are two days' readings missing from my log for Thursday and Friday last week. But they are giving me £5 credit in compensation, which is more than I usually manage to make in free electricity on a Sunday, so I'm happy!0

michaels said:I have a 2 rate tariff so 7p off peak and 29p peak. EDF were unable despite dozens of contact us attempts to tell me if I would get refunded at 29p per unit for this offer or only at the standard 25p ish rate, and there is no info on how the calcs are done when payment is made, simply random amounts added on random dates.
Edit: I also got the blip message this week although I have to cut down from 1.2% to 0.6%0 -

Anyone know when the Sunday Saver will be credited for last month? ThanksI think....0

Usage up to 4 May should be credited 15 May Next challenge round credits due 12 June.
Dates are in the SMS reminders telling you how many free hours you will have available sent the day before.1 -
I don't know about anyone else but ever since EDF paused the Sunday Saver for a couple of months, apart from two weeks at the start, I've not qualified for free electricity once whereas before they updated it I was qualifying almost every week.
I'm assuming they've made it harder. My target used to be around 6%, now it's always around 3%.0 -
Beware British summer time!
I just happened to see a post someone made on X about their smart meter being an hour out with regard to the Sunday Saver so I thought I'd check my data and mine is an hour out too.
This started happening after the clocks changed in March so it's obvious why it's happened but how does that effect the free electricity people may be qualifying for?
Good job I haven't qualified since March. 🙄0 -

Good job I haven't qualified since March. 🙄Where are you noticing it is an hour out?The displayed time on the meter and the IHD would usually update to show BST, but the meter data year-round is always recorded in GMT, so that doesn't change, the supplier just makes the adjustment for BST where needed.

The EDF energy hub data in the online account ties to my BST based usage and the credit for the 4 hours for the Sunday I checked ties to 8am -12 BST data.
Haven't checked via Bright app recently, but remember having to offset that previously, so as noted above where are you looking?0 -
I wish I'd done screenshots yesterday because I swear both the app and my online account were an hour out after 30th March when the clocks changed.
I kinda complained on X, saying shouldn't it be something you're looking into and I wonder if they've been fiddling with things because my online account is now fine however it still doesn't match up on my app but like I said, both were wrong yesterday.
My boiler comes on at 11am and 7:30pm to heat the water. This is a screenshot of my app for 31st May which shows the gas usage for those times as an hour out:
And this is what it says on my online account:
As I said, both were wrong yesterday. If they've made changes it's possible it's just taking time for my app to catch up but has it affected peak time data needed for Sunday Saver and free electricity since the end of March?
ETA: EDF have asked me to message them details so I'll let you know what they say.0
