I am on September Sunday saver so have 12 hours for this Sunday coming.
Can I check that there is no longer any fair use restriction on the amount of free electricity available during my 12 hours?
So, I can charge my car for free and do all the washing and tumble dry if it is raining?

On the later part, while I understand the benefit of time-shifting demand during the week, I am not so sure about the overall "green" credentials.  I could and possibly would wash the towels today (Friday) and put them to hang outside and dry.  With the free electricity on Sunday, that gets delayed to Sunday when it is forecast to rain so I will then be using the tumble drier.
It leaves me rather conflicted TBH.

Well, 16:02 on Sunday and I just received a text from EDF reading "Get ready! Tomorrow, you have 12 hours of free electricity to use between 8 am -8 pm. ..."  That must be a mistake - I have been making good use of my free electricity today.  Hope I did not get that all wrong.

As I understand it, the Sunday Saver is not about being green. It's about peak time energy management, when electricity demand across the country is highest.

I'd agree with this.  On the October Sunday Savers I've sucessfully managed to earn a batch of free electricity by reducing my peak use.  I'm a very low user, so it's actually been a challenge for me as there's very little I could shift, but I've been managing it.

Based on the posts above, I can see someone had an issue with the times appearing to maybe be an hour out, can someone confirm that the Sunday free times tomorrow should definately be real times after the the clocks have changed?
Indecision is the key to flexibility :)
