ETA: EDF have asked me to message them details so I'll let you know what they say.
Over a month later and I'm still waiting for them to update me by the way.

    In the meantime...

    Enjoy two free electricity events:

    Saturday 12th July
    Sunday 10th August

    Who qualifies?

    • Took part in the June Challenge – you get both days

    • Registered interest before 11 July (midnight) – you get both days

    • Registered interest 12 July – 9 August (midnight) – you get 10 August only

I have EDF, and the Sunday Saver is great for focussing your mind to doing things on Sunday. However 3 wash loads, 2 tumble drier loads and some batch baking was not really a lot of cash saving. In the winter it is different when you can use a convector heater etc. But has been a good learning experience.

I wish I'd done screenshots yesterday because I swear both the app and my online account were an hour out after 30th March when the clocks changed.

I kinda complained on X, saying shouldn't it be something you're looking into and I wonder if they've been fiddling with things because my online account is now fine however it still doesn't match up on my app but like I said, both were wrong yesterday.

My boiler comes on at 11am and 7:30pm to heat the water. This is a screenshot of my app for 31st May which shows the gas usage for those times as an hour out:

And this is what it says on my online account:

As I said, both were wrong yesterday. If they've made changes it's possible it's just taking time for my app to catch up but has it affected peak time data needed for Sunday Saver and free electricity since the end of March?

ETA: EDF have asked me to message them details so I'll let you know what they say.
Two months later and EDF finally got back to me about this. They added £25 to my account as an apology for having to wait so long without a response though so at least that's something.

Apparently the timer issue, though wrong on the meter, is correct on the billing side of things so should not affect the Sunday Saver payments. They were advised that the timer will be correct from October as it will correct itself on the next clock change.

I'm still not wholly convinced if I'm being honest. As I said in my quoted post, my online account corrected itself a short while after I complained on X and I don't know when it happened but my app has also corrected itself since then - so no waiting for the clocks to change in October but the corrections certainly didn't happen until at least June (after the March clock change) so what they said was the case doesn't really add up.
