soappie that is what I was thinking of doing, it's just like you say remembering to, when me and DP talked about it I don't think we've opened a window or door in there for over a month, I had to WD40 the door, it was fine when we put the lights up in there in December. Will be easier to remember now because I don't want to have to do what I did today again. I always thought it was draughty in there causing the cold but just must be all the glass as the moisture just seems to be sitting in there. I gave up on using towels (trying to be nicer to enviroment) and ended up using over 2 rolls of good kitchen roll mainly getting the water off the windows and the mould off etc. I'm thinking of asking my Dad if he's using his dehumidifier at the minute, I know it was just in the garage when I was last over, might help dry it out a bit, I really don't want to have to buy one if possible. I have the vax for the cleaning the carpet but worried about leaving it damp.
tiamai, yes, Saturday, I only know because the boys go back to school soon, mid holidays I didn't even know what day it was, was just a blur! Dress, hmm, sorry no idea, I don't think I own one of those, must be over 9 years since I last put one on....One day I might be more organised...........

Afternoon all - I am doing rubbish at flying today - posting so that if anybody else is you have a twin. Good news is that DH is doing great and has done most of the decs - I just need to pack a few away.
H/M pizza for tea - I made the dough and brought the stuff and DH has made it all.
I need to just find the table for tea.
DS2 at a go-carting/pizza/sleepover - his favourite things rolled into one night he is going to be having a blast.
Plan to get the other two to bed early. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
I've abandoned jobs for the evening too. I've got the evening to myself after all Mr Messy was fine about me not going to see him tonight on account of having seen him every day for six in a row over New year.
I rang my mum cos I was wondering (ie climbing the walls will worry and excitement) what was going on baby-wise. SILs mum sent them to the horsepiddle but they sent her back home. I've asked my mum to ring me whenever whatever, she assumed my poor Bro would have rung me to repeat the same story. I shan't sleep tonight but then I don't excpect SILs having a bundle of laughs right now.
Lil_me, your landlord is more than lucky to have you there. Good luck with the mould bashing! My landlord told me I was 'diligent' (which I looked up just to be sure it was a compliment!:rotfl: )
Poohbear, ouch! I hope your knee eases up soon but I don't expect you've seen the last of the snow where you are!
Soappie, good luck with the maps, I like the sound of those older ones. Well done on the sprouting beans too!
I feel like I'm getting back to my routine coming on here what with the disruptive fortnight of holiday time and spending too much time with Mr Messy. I had a bit of a wobble about a month ago, single for too long into a full on virtually domestic relationship was too much for me so now were just 'hanging out' together and strangely have seen more of him! Ah, modern relationships, as my Mum would say.One debt v 100 days Part 14 £400/£400

poohbear hugs hun, how far north are you?
Anyone where can I buy plain white long sleeved Tshirts for age 13-14 not thermal.
DS3 is too clever for me at 5. He had a magic teacher for Christmas and wants to know how it works - why can't it just be magic? Oh no, so I explained about the magnets (he has geomags so knows a bit about magnets) but I couldn't explain it fully enough so he is sulking. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Lil me,
If the problem in the conservatory is condensation on the windows, if you could afford it, it might be worth your while getting a little oil filled radiator to put in there, on a timer, just for an hour a day (say early evening) to try and prevent - or dry up the condensation?
What direction does the conservatory face (i.e. how much sun is it getting)? Which room is it attached to in the house? How is it accessed?

I didn't know what a Magic Teacher was so had to look it up, I had something similar when I was a kid but it was a metal man (well he looked metal, kind of like the one in star wars) same idea, I can't remember what it was called now, it'll come to me. My sons always got to have the next step of questions answered aswell so know exactly what you mean, he wouldn't settle for a 'magic' one either.
Tshirts - have you tried Tesco or Asda? Rugby top would probably fit that decription but most have patterns on. Sure my son had some that looked like http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Coldgear-Long-Sleeved-White-Top-by-Under-Armour-Youth-L_W0QQitemZ270201050161QQihZ017QQcategoryZ1067QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem that one from Tesco.
While I remember, JillD if you're still stuck for PE kits https://www.adams.co.uk have them, was looking for tops for Dusty and remembered about there.
Soappie, as far as where does it face :rotfl: can't say I've ever took any notice, think, think, erm, gets the sun on an afternoon usually I think.....I do have a heater for in there but not an oil filled one bought it to use in there over the winterbut haven't put it on this month because we haven't been using the room :rotfl: Suppose I should start really. Condensation seems to be causing a lot of it, was a lot on the bottom of the windows and the sill that goes round, was on the carpets aswell (inc under the sofa when I pulled it out) so that won't be of course. Just going to try a few things over the next few weeks, it seemed to be fine when we used it a lot.Worried because my expensive base PC is out there aswell, I'm going to strip that down on Monday aswell and make sure it's ok inside.
One day I might be more organised...........

I did actually have a big problem when I unrolled one large bunch and randomly selected one for putting up for sale. I studied it for quite some minutes thinking 'this is so interesting, I can't sell it, it's mine, my precious' in a sort of Gollum type way.
But, I spoke sternly to myself - it's not of the area I'm actually interested in, it's been sitting in the loft for a long time. If I really think about it, it was more like 6 years ago rather than 4 that I bought them at auction (for just one!) and all they've done is sit up in the loft. I had to keep telling myself I DON'T NEED THESE GIVE THEM UP AND LET SOMEONE ELSE HAVE THE PLEASURE.
Ooooh, it can be so hard sometimes - for me especially - to stop hoarding and let go...I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

http://www.polo-shirts.co.uk/White+T-Shirts/Stedman+Classic+Long+Sleeve+T-shirt suppose small would be a little big but not too much, they charging £5 delivery for 2 however so probably worth ordering a few things from them (4 etc is same price for delivery). I've ordered a few things from them before, they are good and cheap. I think the order for the kids hi vis vests I ordered for someone took 2 days. One day I might be more organised...........

I'd be the same with the maps, but like you say, if they're not out on display and just sitting in a loft, someone could have the pleasure of them. And you could generate some cash of course!
I forgot to have a 'Bargain Boast' yesterday.Indulge me! I've had a bit of thing about Egyptian cotton bedding since I stayed in a swanky hotel a couple of years ago for a wedding. Matalan's 75% off sale. Oh, my, word.. I kitted out my kingsize and the spare room double with duvet covers, sheets and doubles of pillowcases for £32 should have been £93 (hang on that's not 75%?). They're probably a real bu**er to iron but I'll save them for the specialest of visitors. It still sounds extravagant (for my budget) but I haven't had new bedding for 5 years so entirely justified. So chuffed and that's all the sales shopping I'll be doing. One debt v 100 days Part 14 £400/£400
