Ooh, both those dresses are gorgeous! Good luck with the dress hunt Tia.

I've done everything I can to distract me from thinking about what's going on with this baby being born. My mother is a mine of no information whatsoever despite having spoken to my brother 3 times today. I think I'm going to retire to my leurrrvly (enough 'rrrrr's lil_me?) new bedding with a hot chocolate and a book.
I'll be back tomorrow for more of the same; always jobs to do.
    night night all.

  • Thanks to all on here, since lurking on this thread over the past few months, my housework has moved to a higher level. Have always had a day for housework each week (most weeks anyway) but never seemed to have time for those extra tasks, the one's you never have time to do. Soooo since reading here I have - utilising no more time I might add:-
cleaned my pan drawer under the cooker- Yuk!
vacced under my DS bed- not as bad as I thought
    oven
    cupboards
    skirting boards etc..
    DD bookcase
the list goes on. Anyway thanks again for the inspiration. Kitty.:T

me too JJ. you can get halter bra's and the ones with multi-way straps, the body thingy has it. I tried a few halter tops and kinda just squishes them up, but that dress looks better fitted.

The only time I have ever worn a halter top was when I was 18 and my mate and I would go to the snooker/pool hall once a week. Was a special halter top, and a wonderbra, and guess what? we were crap at pool but somehow... usually won... :rotfl:Oh to be young and hot again! :A

    Hello lovely ladies,

Havent read all 10 pages of posts that I'm behind and not sure where the weeks gone but I've been doing Tuesday today :D

Tuesday Living Room, Hall and Stairs
[strike]Vacuum floors and sofas[/strike] - Both living rooms done
[strike]Dusting, even if around everything[/strike] - both living rooms
[strike]Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe[/strike] - all done and stairs wiped clean
[strike]Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets[/strike] - done in both rooms
    [strike]Wipe light switches and banister[/strike] - done
[strike]Clean any other glass like mirrors etc[/strike] - quick dust was fine
[strike]Tidy shoes, coats and bags[/strike] - all ok
[strike]Vacuum under furniture[/strike] - main living room done, other can wait as not used very often!
    Extra Mission:
Pick one or more of the following tasks –
    • [strike]Clear one hotspot, or just spend at least 5 minutes tackling it[/strike] - sideboard in D/Rm
    • Card list - suggested by serena - make a list of who you have received cards from, their addresses and put it somewhere safe! - cards in a pile ready to do
    • [strike]Clear one shelf, dust and replace items after giving them a wipe over[/strike] - in kitchen
    • Clean a window, only need to do one but if you manage more then :D well done
    • [strike]Using the idea Shirley suggested, get yourself a bag or box, go around collecting things that are not in the place they should be, then put them back where they should be. You could delegate and give everyone their own misplaced things to deal with[/strike] :D - all clutter and christmas gifts still lying around bagged up for each person and taken to their rooms
I have also have taken Christmas trees down in both rooms and put decs aways (because couldnt get anyone to help  ) altho did manage to get OH to take the big tree to the attic as its too heavy for me, and the old tree managed to get DS to take out ready to go to the tip. Its really had it now but I have had it 21 years so I think I was justified in throwing it now. Also recleaned the kitchen and dining room, hoovered the hallway and wiped all the mucky marks off the floors downstairs (couldnt be bothered to wash all the floors). Looks good downstairs now, but upstairs is a different story  . Washing machine been on as well but was well caught up last week so not too many loads this weekend to do.

    Plan for tomorrow
Return some jeans for DD as on wrong size hangar
Cash point for kids pocket money
Food shop - but only what I really need as on the grocery challenge this month
    Roast lunch
    More washing/drying /ironing
    Thursdays bathroom list
Update Christmas card list from card pile
anything else I can think of

Well I hope you all ok, hope to keep up with you all tomorrow but in the mean time :grouphug: for anyone who needs one.

    Kaz x

Poohbear - hope your leg is feeling better.
Dustykitten - i'm your twin! I didn't do any flying either!
Pigpen and tia - those dresses are both gorgeous, i can't find any dresses to fit me, if it fits on top it's too big on the waist and if it fits on the waist it doesn't come near my bust! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

I've spent the last five hours throwing up. Seriously hope i'm just overtired rather than it being a bug. At least it will shift the few extra pounds from christmas I guess xx
