**blows bugs in shelleys direction** attttchoooo!! :rotfl: :p ha ha! My Mam always told me it was nice to share :p I must have missed these bargain Tesco hampers people are now going on about :( oh well I wouldn't have anywhere to put them anyway, suppose it's only a bargain if I'd have used it anyway.

AnW'sMum mine were both early, so unfortnately I have no idea what overdue Mam's feel like but I know I'd pretty much had enough when mine were born so must be bad :rotfl:

My goodness the sun is out!!! I might just faint in shock!

I got more fed up with people saying 'your still here then' when it was fairly obvious that she had not been born!

Agreed!! I had to be induced and I was so scunnered waiting - longest couple of weeks of my life.

Hope the honey does the trick g&b.

I'm trying to find some motivation this morning but I'm not going to find it here on the couch in my PJs. Can I buy some online somewhere???? :D

Also, advice needed - was a bit bad over the hols and did a couple of quick wipe rounds of the bathroom with bleach spray with no gloves. My hands are so nicked (which is horrible when I use the microfibre cloth - it keeps catching, eurgh!) and my nails are all peeled down on the top layers. Any suggestions on how I can fix my hands & peeling nails? I'll definitely need to use gloves from now on!!

Hullo everyone else - hope you're all set for a great weekend.

Snow is now gone here. Am gutted. It looks as if it was never here either which is so weird. Glad we took some photos yesterday!

TartanMum - http://www.womenfitness.net/beauty/handfeet/dry_hands.htm is a list on there inc the lemon, oil and honey I used that last month, worked well.

**Walks in and breathes deeply several times** 20 pieces of paper, 6 paper plates and several pens, goodness knows what DS2 is planning to make but it'll likely make a mess, roll on Monday!! **Walks back out ignoring mess, repeating 'only 2 more days'**

embb nope we're just helping you realise you can be great on your own because you already are & that from what you said he was a bit of a useless twerp anyway. We're just telling you what you've told us, just takes someone else saying it back to you to help you to realise it's true.

**nods head** of course it's true, you told us it was.

Oh bother now he's making holes in the plates, putting straws in the holes and hunting for sticky tape. I'm trying to not be mean and tell him no making a mess as he loves being creative but with the sun shining I did want to get tidied up. Maybe if I clear the toys he has out in the dining room he can play in there.......then I might feel less twitchy about him making a mess, I'll help him be creative when I am going past (because he can't do the sticky tape) suppose at least that way he'll be content while I get on with stuff..

    Morning all

:grouphug: for all the coughers, splutterers, sneezers and all of you that are feeling low or sad. Or driven around the bend by kids, only two days to go

Well, I am sitting amidst a chaos of a livingroom and my kitchen doesn't look too great either.. My excuse is that I keep popping over to the Christmas and special occasions thread and have great artistic ideas for making some money this year..

Today I have to get stuck in, switch this computer off and leave it off until order is restored in this hovel..
I hope you all have a great weekend, enjoy your kids and family.

Although I say I can't wait until they go back to school, I miss them terribly when they do.

    Bye for now..

Right, decs are put away in the loft for another year! I'm determined to have the house clean and tidy for when I go back to work on Monday!

Need to go and finish DS's bedroom and then start on the LR.

For those wanting baby news - my friend had a baby girl 12 weeks early on Boxing day - her youngest DS is 8 months old!

Hope everyone's having a good day

    Morning all (just)

Three loads of washing done! How can I have three loads when I've done washing every day and there are only three of us here?

    Anyway,

Vacuumed through downstairs. Got rid of a huge cobweb behind the curtain that I hadn't noticed before. DH said "oh yes, I saw that a week ago". Didn't occur to him to get rid of it apparently.
