Thanks Dusty, i'm just about to go and get changed now. It'll be a huge turn out as i've got to call for 15 people on the way and there'll be loads more. I took my dad to hospital for his xray this morning - no bones chipped so that's one good thing.

I'll be back on later. Thanks again xx

Kids have been told no more tv until 4:00 as they have watched quite enough over the past week and can do something else - like help me.

Awwwww G&B Bless her, what a day to be poorly, hope she gets better soon. x

I think I'm gonna go and strip my bed. Quietly. there's nothing to tidy away in there so not that much to do, I'm actually a really tidy person it's just everyone else who isn't LOL so my bedroom is always nice cause they're not allowed in it. :D

    It's so cold today............brrrrrr!
  • Have made a start, tho it was a real struggle getting out of a warm bed.

    [STRIKE]-change bed
    -clean bedroom window
    -wipe windowsills
    -check smoke alarm
    -empty upstairs bins
    -clean handles and switches[/STRIKE]
-iron uniform (plus anything else I can be bothered to tackle)
    plus
    -washing up done
    -bedclothes in WM
-sorted out pressie for friend who had a little boy on NYE

-opticians appointment - remember to take existing lenses to swop
    -quick trawl round shops
-library for a couple of audio-books for dad - remember tape player too
-visit sis and niece for a couple of hours
-clean mom's kitchen and bathroom for her as she hasn't got time at mo
    -visit dad in hospital

Have got to have a quick trawl round now for all of the things I need to take out with me rather than do my usual trick of realising 10 mins away from home!

Seems to still be a lot of sickness floating around - G&B has DD stopped being sick yet?

Jue - I'm thinking about getting married in September - OH and me had planned to get things sorted out on holiday what we wanted to do but that sort of got put on hold when we were burgled when we were away. Trouble is we need to get a load done on the house so money will only go so far and I refuse to get into debt over 1 day. I'd rather get married abroad to be honest but my sister did that and so I'd feel guilty if Nan and Grandad didn't see me get hitched and they're too frail to go far. Still so many things to decide rolleyes.gif x

    I'd rather be watching CSI!

Hi all, happy belated new year to you - regulars, newbies, returners alike!
I'm kind of in this week but normal routines (ie back to work and being at home properly) don't start until tomorrow so today I'm just pootling. I'll definitely be taking the tree down though and a trip to the tip with it, then putting the livingroom back to some kind of order. Not much other than that I'd hope.
    Have a useful day all.
Brace yourselves for the forcasted Siberian weather fellow North- Easterners! (Can't see it myself - wet and mild here just now..)

The cold wind they promised is here with a vengeance now, really bitter out there (just been out with more recycling).

Bedrooms dusted and vacuumed, bed remade. Downstairs vacuumed too. I might put a few bits of washing out, it's certainly windy enough.

I've put the bedding out, will make it smell extra fresh :)

Right now to make a start on dinner, need to have a good nosey in freezer.:rotfl:
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
