I'm going to bet on how many pages i will have to go through to catch up here tomorrow. I'm not on in the morning, so i'll guess at 30 pages
Keep up the hard work so the kids can mess it up again
Goodnight everyone :beer:0 -
Today has been a lazy day with just the two of us at home (DH will be back to work tomorow) However, I have:
washed and dried laundry
made some homemade soup
straightened the kitchen and the dining room (both cleaned yesterday as we had friends round for the evening
changed the bed
sorted all the paperwork from my kitchen shelf
So, maybe not the list as set, but not too bad a start to the year!Resolution:
Think twice before spending anything!0 -
 Happy 2008 my flylady friends
Can't remember when i last posted. It has been a busy week or so. We were visiting ILs for 5 days, and got back yesterday evening. While we have been away, dad has been in hospital having an op on his feet, but hopefully he will be home tomorrow. He had the bones amputated from his little toes, and his tendons cut in both legs to help his infection heel and prevent further infection. So, i haven't seen him since boxing day, and if he isn't coming home tomorrow i think i will have to squeeze in a hospital visit.
We have been so busy - grand plans to do lots in the house in the next couple of months.
Today we have:- been to B and Q to buy new cheap bathroom tiles to replace around the bath where it is about to collapse without notice on someones head
- visited mum and sis. Took them our old hair clippers, glass table mats and a book for sis i had finished reading
- DH put up mums wall light and replaced all the bulbs that needed doing for her - lots as she has loads of silly spotlights.
- got 2 black sacks of clothes for charlie of sis

- tree and decs dismantled
- xmas cards out to recycle
- decs taken upstairs ready to go in loft

- one shelve of bookshelf stripped of books and teak oiled
- runners on 4 drawers were teak oiled
- TV cabinet and lamp table were teak oiled
- more toys were taken out of packaging and the card/plastic out for recycling
- washed a load with DH's jeans and bouncy chair cover
- bouncy chair dismantled as charlie no longer uses it and too big for a new baby
- sorted out 3 carrier bags of assorted junk for charity shop
- garage tidied up ready for major house sort/decorate

Night all, See you tomorrow0 -
Wow you ladies put me to shame! My dp has been off today and find it soooo hard to get things done when he is home so as horrible as it sounds, I am looking forward to getting things done tomorrow. Also I havent been feeling well today so have had a chill day. Tomorrow I am cracking on, hope its ok to post my list of tasks here, it motivates me more if I tell people what I am doing? Here goes
Change Harrys bed
Tidy Harrys bedroom
Change our bed
Put xmas decorations and tree in attic
Wash and dry 2 loads of washing
Sort out washing upstairs
Walk Honey
Go down shops
Clean upstairs windows
Dust upstairs window sills
Hoover downstairs
Wash up
Wipe down kitchen surfaces
Lets see how much I get done, going down the shops dependson Harry (my son). Its quite a way and he gets tired by the afternoon especially of we have walked honey for an hour or so (honey is the dog). Am determined to do the rest though. Doesnt look like much but I am not used to this kind of thing! Oh and Happy New Year to everyone, looking forward to getting to know you all better this year and thanks for letting me join!!0 -
