Actually, I've had a rethink this evening about the freezer inventory being stuck on the freezer door. There's absolutely no point in it being there at all. I don't meal plan weekly, because I never know what I'm going to fancy from one day to the next, nor do I know how many I'm actually going to be catering for until the day itself.
So, the best place for my freezer inventory is clipped inside my diary which is ALWAYS in or around my person and even comes to work with me. If it's there, then during the working day, if I'm stuck, I can just whip it out and see 'what's in'. Also, if I see any offers when I'm out, I know whether or not to buy them.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Hello all of you lovely Flybabies.
I know it's ben a couple of months since I touched base with you all, so I thought I'd make an effort to wish you all the best poossible start to 2008.
The end of 2007 got very busy for us - we moved house and work went crazy at the same time. The pregnancy is also progressing well, I'm over four months along now and am finally over the queasy tired part. Now all I have to worry about is my rapidly expanding waistline and getting all the work done on time before baby 3 arrives to join the gang in the summer! I've been managing to keep up with a lot of the housework, but to tell the truth, we're still unpacking boxes and searching for things that have been misplaced, so it's a bit of an uphill struggle sometimes. Still, if nothing else I keep the sink clean and do a load a day without fail which helps to keep things under control.
Hope to catch up with you all soon - probably not daily but at least once a week or so.
Love,
MermaidYou only get one go at life, so grab it where it hurts, shake it hard and get everything out of it you can!0 -
Hello,
I used to join in with this thread about a year ago but lost heart after I didn't seem to be getting anywhere. Well we have moved house since then and as I am determined to catch hold of my life and be an organised, less fat, and generally nicer person by the time 2009 comes around, this is the place to start (as well as starting weightwatchers on tuesday).
Could someone remind me please- does the list of tasks get posted everyday or weekly?:smileyheaRachel xx0 -
Hi Rebl43.
Lil Me does a sterling job of updating the list in post 1 of the weekly thread every evening. The new weekly thread starts on a Sunday night with Monday's joblets. We're even spoilt with weekend jobs on a Friday night for the really keen ones.
I've just 'done a hotspot'. OK, I've moved a small pile of magazines to join a larger pile, but at least that's a hotspot less.

Haha thanks, but some days I feel like I am constantly shouting at the kids and my DH, and that I look like Fungus the Bogeyman.:smileyheaRachel xx0 -
Wow you lot have been busy on this thread! I daren't even attempt to read all that has been said before me!
Happy New Year everyone! Today has been a really relaxed 'non-day' for me, it's just flown by and all I achieved was getting on top of the laundry (oh and the dishes got done earlier but then we had dinner and they await me in the morning). Ho hum!
Tomorrow my hubby is back to work again, he had 4 days off and we think he now has an ear infection, so unless he feels worse tomorrow he'll be going in. I'll use the morning tidying around the lazy kids lol. I've also promised to make a trifle with one of them, as we forgot to make it for NYE. Not that it's going to help my healthy eating kick!
Tata all for now!IAAR/IAAMM/MFTMFAQ/IOA6BH0 -
Oh, how funny :rotfl: !!
Ah well, that will definitely change when you start flying again - didn't Fungus live in filth and goo in a cupboard under the sink? You'll have to change your alter ego..... how about Anthea Turner. (I quite like her actually:o ).
