HSBC Visa Credit Card - 10% cashback offer (1st Oct-31st Dec 2024)

I wonder if anyone received any cashback for October transactions?, it says before 15th next month, today's is 12 and nothing on my account, i hope i accepted invitation correctly;(

I opted in. When I received my October statement on 13th the section headed Cash Back Card Scheme had all zeroes. I queried this on my HSBC App chat. After avoiding my specific questions they suggested that it would show on my November statement - it didn't - all zeroes again. Back onto App chat and more avoidance of my specific questions e.g. why isn't that section of the statement filled in. They did confirm that I was opted in (I would expect it to say that on the statement). They said the cash back would be credited on the 15th of each month so it will be credited tomorrow. They also said that I would have an amended statement tomorrow showing the cash back figures. I will be amazed if that happens.
The idea behind the scheme is a good one - I am buying the same things but using my credit card all the time in order to save money. However the execution of the scheme is very poor.

I'm expecting a single transaction showing something like "cashback" with no indication of which purchases earned cashback.

As this is supposed to be added to the account on the 15th, has anybody received anything ? I checked this morning (15th) and no addition made to my account

Nothing on mine, I hope i did everything ok (15 transactions and opt in)

Nothing yet but I did receive an email at 8:25 AM this morning to say there is a new document for me to view in My Documents, except there isn’t!

The last document received was dated 25th October 2024.

Glad I'm not the only one who is missing the cashback still. I contacted HSBC in the app asking whether I hadn't qualified or if there was a delay in paying cashback, but it was pretty clear they had no insight into how the offer worked. They couldn't even confirm whether I'd signed up for it.

Hopefully there is just some delay for technical reasons, or they meant to say "on or before the 15th" rather than "by the 15th" in the offer terms.

I'm still missing mine too and know I definitely opted in as I got a reminder about the number of transactions I needed to make to be eligible  Hopefully will appear soon!

Might it be the next day that we see it in the app, in the same way you wouldn't see a card transaction made today in the app immediately?
