  • Thanks for the updates.

I’ve just received an additional 12p on the 30th January 2025. If you add that to the £49.88 for November, that makes £50 for that month.  :)

Just checked and there are two entries in my account, most likely both increasing November and December up to £50.

October's cashback was the full £50.

Best check your emails to see if you have an option to earn cashback this year with the HSBC VISA credit card. Not as generous as last year’s offer, but it’s 2% cashback with a minimum spend of £600 per month over two months in November and December with a maximum cashback of £60. This is my offer, yours may vary.

It was 10% last year and a required a number of card transactions. It turned out was different for each cardholder who received an invitation to earn cashback.

    Your cashback terms may vary.

I haven’t received an offer this year. I occasionally use the card which was the mistake it seems.
  • I’ve only spent about £350 on this credit card in the past six months, so HSBC must want me to use it more frequently. Five hours after they sent this new cashback offer, I received another email saying I’m eligible to increase my credit limit by up to double the current limit.

I have a 25k limit but hardly spend over £200 a month. I wouldn’t be surprised if they take my limit away next!

No offer here either, and hardly any spend since last December.
