Morning!
We were out last night at DS1s GFs parents for a meal and I woke during the night with hideous indigestion which is not shifting. Very unpleasant.
Cycling yesterday with friends which was nice. I have made an appointment to see the podiatrist for a Biometric check as my hip, knee and ankle are a bit sore and I am due for my orthotics checking.
Glad you have got pest control in GI, sounds like a busy day!
Between cycling and going out yesterday I did nothing as I had had a few hours Flying on Friday so there wasn't too much to do. This means that I need a plan for today or I am going to get bored and restless. We have curtains to return to Dunelm so might do that.
Have a good Sunday all x6 -
Hi all hope you are well. The last few weeks have flown by and I don't feel I've achieved much but I'm too hard on myself I think as running 2 houses is exhausting. I filled a skip and cleared some more garden and new bathroom going in this week. Next week is some ceilings being over boarded for insulation purposes then can get on with new carpets etc and new windows and painting....the list goes on6

Morning all,
Was up early but had a nice chilled start to the day.
My plans for yesterday went out the window as DD (aged 8) asked if we could make cupcakes. She was very precise- chocolate chip with chocolate icing and crushed biscoff biscuits on top. So off to the shop to buy a few ingredients and then made the cakes. We decorated this morning as we ran out of time yesterday. Looking forward to tasting them later! The flying will be pushed back to today or next week!
I also made a scrummy dinner where all the family commented on the efforts that I had gone too. 3 curries made (2 like a spicier curry, and 2 (not the same 2) are vegetarian! It is always worth the effort to see everyone enjoying their food. We also had poppadoms, dips, naan bread, samosas and bhajis. Need less to say we were all stuffed. Anyway, I am procrastinating. Need to leave for church in half an hour and now I will get no jobs done before I leave!Grocery challenge- feb 2015- £133.07/£2506 -
Morning all. A slow start here too, I'm just having breakfast.

Morning all,
A slow start to the day here as well, after a rather late night out last night with friends. A lovely evening had by all.
It’s a season of mists and mellow drizzleness outside - not very inspiring. I made a super flying effort yesterday downstairs yesterday, so am planning to take it (even) easier today, maybe some time fiddling around in my craft space.
Ah, just remembered that I have some pickle / chutney to make to clear some veg. Well that’s today replanned, but at least I might be able to avoid going to the allotment to pick apples with DH 🤫.5 -
Dailies are done, dog is walked and I've painted another three planters. Time to move indoors and actually do some flying.Spend less now, work less later.6

Thanks @sexymouse it's very annoying; I keep thinking it's getting better and then it comes back. By the way, I washed the tablecloth in Napisan as you suggested, putting it on a long wash cycle so it had plenty of time to soak. I can still see the mark but it is very faint now and I had really had to look to find it - no one else would notice it. I'll have to start staining things so that I can use the 450g of powder still left.
Actually, that will not be a problem for us.
@Valli and @YORKSHIRELASS I hope that your respective tummy troubles are sorted out now. Chatsworth is lovely isn't it Valli. Not much flying done in the last couple of days as I haven't really felt like doing any, beyond the essentials. Today I went to the 08.30 and then accompanied A on some exercise up and down the hall. After lunch I made a coconut and lime drizzle cake as we have a couple of friends coming for tea tomorrow. I've WUPA everything and soon it will be time to make supper.Evidently MSE has awarded me a badge for having made 1000 posts (the badge awarder obviously doesn't realise it's mainly drivel I've posted or s/he might not have awarded me it!) Anyway, when it arrives I shall wear it with pride.Actually, a small group of us has been honored in this way, including the interestingly named member MSE_ForumTeam5. Do you think there will a medal ceremony, as there is at the Olympics? If there is, I'll let you know and see if I can get you all an invitation. I expect the medals, sorry badges, will be given to us by the King, or at the very least Prince William.

I have finished all of the flowers for the cot mobile - I just need to work out how to put it all together now!
I have sorted some of the plants from the utility room - potted up some spider babies, repotted a money plant/Jade cutting and wiped the dust from the orchids. I have also cleaned the windowsill & window. 2 large Tradescantia have been rehomed to the LR onto the new shelves - mainly to hide the fact they aren't straight! 🤦♀️ My DH is not the best at DIY 😂
Flying wise - meal plan & food shop done, WM x1 line dried & folded. DW emptied & restacked.
I am trying to ignore little cat being interested in something in the little bedroom/office/music room.......I have shut our bedroom door. Hopefully it is just a spider.....
Sleep well all! See you on the new thread 😊6 -
