Thanks Frizzlef - Mr Ionafan is a bit better today. Hopefully we've caught the infection in time for him not to end up in the horse piddle [fingers crossed]. We both got a decent night's sleep, which always helps.
It is not particularly sunny but very blowy today, so I am doing WMx however many loads it takes. Both beds have been stripped, and the bathroom towels were nearly dry when I put them in the TD in order to make room for the bedding on the whirly. Clothes and other towels are queuing up for their turn.
I have managed to order a small birthday gift for DDG1 (14yo on Tuesday, but she's having a family party on Saturday), as well as some more bits and pieces for our holiday and my photo sorting. I went to the GP surgery to pick up stickers for DH's blood tests tomorrow and also popped in to MrAl's. Rosie needs a walk, but I shall be surprised if she agrees to go out in this noisy wind! I've got an appointment with the chiropodist at 6pm. And DH's ensuite needs a thorough clean before the clean towels and bath mat go back. Onwards and upwards!

Argh! Wind blew my nice clean sheet into the mud on the floor around our washing line, and I've now had to re-wash it alongside DS2's bedding to make the load worth it.DH home now, so have tasked him with sweeping away all of the mud for me so it won't happen again.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20176

Aubergine caviar made but I think I may have overdone the garlic. Oops. Two hams baked. Chicken roasted and stripped. Two cats stuffed with chicken skin and chewy bits, dog happy with whatever I threw her way. Vegan bread sliced and frozen; not bad at all. I'll make that for us for a change sometimes. Shower room loo and sink given the once over, stair walls and front door washed where Wren flings her Kong to get the stuffing out. Not for her the time-consuming effort of licking the filling out, she just stands at the top of the stairs and tosses it down, then licks the filling off the carpet and walls, grabs it, gallops upstairs, rinse and repeat for about 30 minutes. It makes a bit of a mess but she loves the game so much I can't find it in me to stop her from doing it. Whenever I stand anywhere near her she looks from the Kong to my foot and back again as if she's watching a tennis match because she knows that if I stand on it the filling will toothpaste out of it without any effort on her part. Not that she's a canny dog or anything.Parking permits prepped for guests who are staying over and bringing a car, which will be useful to us as well. Thank you guests. A guest's birthday present and card and their Christmas present and card are all written, wrapped as appropriate and bunged in their room.Belovéd has had the car valeted and (I hope) washed, done the vacuuming - whole house too - and sorted out a bed I simply could not get to look good. He's playing tennis this afternoon.I still need to make the digestives and oatcakes and then I'm stopping but I have at least done all of the things I've been putting off because I didn't want to do them. Only took about 30 minutes the lot. Tadpoles I'd morphed into cane toads. Daft.Better is good enough.6

I can’t even pretend to have looked at the lists, but…
-full on admiration for you, HB. Have an amazing weekend x
- GWS wishes to Mr Ionafan, and hugs to you, Iona x
- lots of hugs to you, Narc0, you are having a tough time, but we are all here for you if it helps x
-I hope YL is ok x
-Round, there is most likely a switch which will turn off the start / stop if that helps ease your anxiety a little. Often with a symbol like an A in a circle with a line through it? Nearly the weekend, my lovely x
I have DUPA, that is about it. Interesting day at work, numpy of numptiness seems to rule. Maybe I am the misfit 😳.4 -
@Narc0lepsy hope it all works out for the best but it's worrying for you I"m sure. At least your mum is in a very good place. Sorry to hear about your niece too; these things are very difficult, I know.@Honey_Bear what a lot of work but I hope that you have a nice time.@sexymouse I empathise! My back has been really hurting today, and my neck has been stiff and painful too, and to a lesser extent my shoulders, and I have had a shooting pain go down the top of my right leg; consequently I haven't felt like doing much flying. I did give the socks I washed yesterday a quick whizz in the TD before putting them on the rack to dry fully. Apart from the usual food prep and washing up I've cleaned the bathroom basin and the mirrors and lav and wiped down the surfaces in the kitchen and taken down a bag of rubbish. I also stood the tall kitchen bin in the bath and put some bleachy water in to sanitise it then emptied and dried it before putting in a new bag. I popped to the shops for few bits and also placed an Ocado order.6

Evening all. Hope your pain eases soon CoG.
I'm normally in bed at this time but we've just got back from babysitting DGD2. Flying wise, I only achieved the dailies today.
See you all bright and early in the morning.Spend less now, work less later.6 -
Thanks Jayzee - it feels a little better I think but it seems to come and go a bit. I've been doing some exercises to try and ease it.I made supper and washed up, gave A his two lots of night time eye drops, set out his breakfast things and morning meds. I've already cleaned my teeth so I just need to do my night time skin care routine and then I'm going to read for a little while before going to bed.7

Morning all.
Completed wordle in six and connections with no lives lost so it must be easy today.
Between work shifts today I'm hoping to get grass cut back and front before the forecast rain this afternoon.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.5 -
Morning all xx
Completed Wordle in four, and only managed one line (blue) in Connections. So not easy for yings. You must be a yang Jazee 🤔
I'm up, made my bed, dressed, packed my lunch bag, eaten breakfast and I'm supping my brew. TGIF.
Setting off early yesterday was a success. I still hit the traffic snarl up but later...as in not on the roundabout! Which suits me. If I thought they'd let me leave earlier I'd go in now, but even though they bang on about being flexible, they're not.
Have a lovely day.
