Morning all.
Yesterday I did 6x or more likely 7x WM and got most things dried on the line. A few things like towels ended up in the TD, and we have the airers out in the bathroom, with bedding and clothes draped over the radiators to air. I have started ironing 7 pillowcases this morning after I'd gone downstairs to let Rosie out, but my bedside alarm went off at 7.30 and I had to come up to turn it off. DH has not-so-kindly passed his horrible sneezy cold on to me, and I haven't got the energy to keep running up and downstairs, so I've just switched off the iron and will finish that job after breakfast. Looking to drink my third cuppa of the day as soon as I've typed this
Between the pegging out, I managed to sort out some duplicate photos and fill another 4 album pages. Only another 70 years' worth of pictures to go! And Rosie deigned to come out for a walk with me
Honey_Bear, please don't wear yourself out with the last-minute preparations - if your guests are true friends they will be more than willing to help. In case I don't get back on the thread this evening, I'll wish you and your Beloved a wonderful weekend now. Please can we see photos? - even if only of the food we've heard so much aboutxx
I hope everyone has a good day today xxx

Have a lovely celebration HoneyBear.
After aqua aerobics and a sleep in the conservatory this morning, flying consisted mainly of doing one load of washing, watering the greenhouse, putting dry washing away, writing 2 condolences cards for my step sis and her SIL, pulling up lots of ivy from the garden.

I hope everyone has a good day today xxxAnd I second the good day to everyone.I may have imbibed a little champagne tonight which turned out to be a joint sort of hen and stag do according to those who were present, with lovely fish and chips with champagne. Someone demanded that the bride ended the evening with knickers on her head and Beloved did the decent thing and wore a pair of Y-fronts for photographs at some point. I can guarnatee that won't be on t'internet at any point ever, although there may be evidence in existance. It turns out that the delivery I was waiting for today, 20th September will be arriving on 27th September (fat fingers when ordering that I didn't pick up when they sent me a confirmatory email) so that puts a slightdampers on some of the treats I was planning for Sunday, BUT we were gifted a chocolate cake for the party that turns out to be two chocolate cakes, one for Sunday and the other for us to enjoy when this is all over. So we have a very special hamper of goodies to look forward to unintentionally next week, togerher with one of Betty's finest.I'm exhausted in the best kind of way, surrounded by people who I know really love me, and that's the best kind of way to end a day. Thank you so much for all your good wishes that mean a lot to me, and I'll see you on the other side.
Better is good enough.7 -
HB - I sincerely hope that you and Beloved have the best of bestest time this weekend. And many congratulations to you both 💑

Morning all xx
I'm up - after a nightmarish dream which has followed me into daylight. Not that my brother has ever thrown a bucket of his urine over me in real life! My brain is seriously weird!
So. Tis Saturday morning. And I'm up at 7. Marvellous. Made my bed, completed Wordle in 4, managed two lines in Connections. And I'm supping my first brew. Still no news on Vin Diesel. Sigh.
Brew 2 is required before I can align my brain cells into some sort of working order and come up with a plan.
Big hugs to everyone.
