There's a pivoted CSV download available alongside the bill in MyWatts, so the graphs are a bit redundant and useless.
I prefer not having a 35 page bill.

Yeah I found out of social media, now I m aware of this CSV file, all is good, ideally would be great if they put on the email, but no biggie.
My billed usage has some gaps on last two days of January, which without the CSV I wouldnt have been aware off.

Has anyone seen any actual consumption data on the overview-consumption page of MyWatts?, mine is still "Your data will be available soon"

I've just had my final bill from Octopus for 1 day, the day before my switch (Sun 26 Jan), & it's much higher than I was expecting. The switch happened on Mon 27th.

They've charged me for 41kWh for 1 day, which cannot be correct.

My average daily use on my Octopus (up to Sat 25) is around 2kWh/day, with spikes to 8 or 9 kWh/day when the immersion has been on.

I can't see my usage for Sun 26 on Octopus or myWatts, only Bright App - shows 7.2kWh, which sounds much more likely

I'm in an all electric flat & have not needed to use any heating (all panel heaters have been switched off at the wall since I moved in) My biggest expense is an immersion heater, which was on for just over 1 hour, then I was out for the rest of that day.

I set an alarm on my phone to turn the immersion off, & I must have switched it off on Sunday because I had to switch it back on again the following Wednesday as remaining water really was too cold to shower in - I'm experimenting with the immersion as I've never had one before.

.Still can't access n3rgy - had hoped one of the numbers on the meter may allow me to login (instead of an IHD MAC) but that didn't work. I've emailed them to see if there's a way I can access my data without the IHD MAC - I can't see anything on TE website about them supplying an IHD.

I wasn't asked to provide an initial meter reading by TE - I wouldn't have been able to anyway as the meter is locked away & I don't have access to it.

Anyone else have a closing bill they didn't agree with?

What closing meter reading have Octopus used? Is it the same reading that you supplied them with?

@WBCPB, I think it varies between instant, few days, many day to never.. after two weeks I would reach to TE and in the meantime try Birght app to stay sane :)

@JKS$( what readings did you send to TE? does this match?
Also not sure on your immersion heater but I have something like this:
    https://www.screwfix.com/p/tesla-smart-thermostat-for-immersion-heaters-310mm/258RE
Which you can fully set up on the phone, which day, and what time it should run - so you don't need to do it manually.

@QrizB & @Newbie_John - I haven't supplied either Octopus or TE with any readings as I do not have access to my SMETS2 meter. It is locked away & only maintenance can access it.

Is it beyond Octopus & TE to access the data themselves?

Does octopus bill reading match with the TE first bill?

No, it's not beyond them to read your meter. However if you don't have a handover reading there's no way for you to check Octopus's closing bill.
Per the industry data flows, Octopus should close your account using a reading that Tomato supply to them. If those readings match, you can only challenge it if they differ from the actual reading on the meter on that day by more than a set (& quite large) amount.
Without your own reading, you're pretty much stuck with whatever Tomato have told Octopus to use.
