Well I have just submitted my meter readings as requested by Tomato Energy and my switch is due to take place tomorrow.
Watch this space for more feedback as things progress (or not!!!!).3 -
Hi. There’s a useful Facebook Group of Tomato energy users. It’s very new but is covering all these issues. Most are new switchers.. or looking closely. We are all watching with interest.PS. There isn’t a SEG option. (Unless you’ve had an install by their partner company). So it’s Import only2

Still unclear if the tou timings are permanently GMT, or if they move with GMT/BST.
No reply yet from Tomato Energy on this question.
Not sure what time the witch happens today (if indeed it will!!!) Meter still showing EDF ECO20:20 data.

Well it is now 23:10 on the day of the switch and there are no obvious signs from Tomato Energy that anything has happened!!!
No emails from TE to advise that the switch is complete.
Nothing on their myWatts customer portal website either.
The pages on the EDF website for my logon are now showing different information and no longer display my tariff data.
There is just £5.20 left on the pre-pay meter which is reducing as electricity is being used and the auto and manual top up options have disappeared from the EDF website and phone app menus so I can't top up the meter online.
Unless the switch is going to happen when the pre-paid balance hits zero (which I guess could be the way these things work), there is every chance that we could be plunged into darkness within a few hours once the electric AGA reheat cycle kicks in and gobbles up the remaining credit on the meter
Let's see what the morning brings.

You should have loaded more on before the switch then.
Given the unknown of tomato1 -

But then again if EDF have some say in when to release the switch and it is dependent on the prepaid credit being run down to zero, then topping up the credit when low might delay the switch indefinitely.
I had an auto top up set up with EDF but this has been disabled.
Oh well, all may be come clear later today once the credit hits zero and/or I can contact someone at Tomato Energy to ask what is happening.0 -
Oh well fingers crossed0
