Well… I have cleaned bathroom AND mopped the floors. Dusted upstairs (so many cobwebs!) and thoroughly vacuumed. Almost feels like I’ve remembered how to fly. Off to polish my halo now 😇
Keep on breathing, Kaz. How much longer?
I need to start thinking about a new vacuum cleaner. Any recommendations? I currently have an old bagged cylinder. We have stairs, hard floors and carpets, not sure that I have room to fit a fancy charging point in for a battery one, if that’s what they need? Any thoughts much appreciated.6 -
Hallooooo xx
It's me again. Strange day at work. The morning was mostly punctuated with updates regarding a proposed riot in town. Fueled by social media, thankfully it didn't happen; but lots of businesses closed for the day and pulled the shutters down midmorning. I didn't rest easy until I knew that DS's DF was safely home. She works in a B.Soc in the town centre.
A pleasant afternoon spent catching up on the morning's work. Called at PO on my way home and paid the rent and the gas bill. Unpacked my lunch bag and recycled the bottle and can. Changed into my scruffs. WM is swishing. Flying on a work day...whoda thunk it? You must be contagious Fayolle 😊
I finally got an answer, of sorts, regarding the possible data breach. They're saying it was a genuine error that was immediately reported to the perpetrator's line manager. And this has taken over three months to be relayed to me, why? Especially considering that reporting accidentally accessing a patient's record to your line manager is not SOP. I sent back a scything letter expressing my dissatisfaction with the whole thing. And pointing out that the Duty of Candour is only a thing when it suits. Apparently there never was an investigation...funny how I have emails saying there was. Anyhoo. I made my point. My utter contempt for the cockwombles with their perpetual smoke and mirrors act remains in place.
I'm hoping that ICO will eventually get in touch as I now have a final response that I most certainly am not happy with.
And breathe....
They all talk the talk but not one of them is up to the walk. My bs detector was firing on all cylinders. Synonym for party and brewery come to mind. Disgusted.
Moving on....cheer me up. Tell me something good please 😊

Round can't think of much to cheer you up. We are 40% through the working week and there is another bank holiday soon. Does that help?
Rubbish day, anxious, but I have done a full day at the paid stuff, hoovered and mopped downstairs, wiped kitchen cupboards down and put 2 loads of clean washing away.

Round, if you’re not satisfied chase it. IMO one cannot “accidentally” access some records…
LR cleaned to about level 2 (i didn’t bother with windows) but the sofas got a very good clean. More dot-to-dotting and PUPA done, tooDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Morning all.
Fayolle - I recommend sh@rks and you don't have a charging unit, just plug in for a while in a normal socket. No bags either.
Round - DDil also in your town and worried yesterday. Decided not to take DGD1 to nursery in case of rioters. I worried for DS in his shop which didn't close. What a mess we're in.
Today I have paid stuff and a headache, not a good combination.
I hoovered yesterday so don't need to do that today so will try to report back with any flying.
Poppet is shaking. I'll see how she goes but a trip to vet may be necessary.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.7 -
Good morning my lovelies xx
I'm up, made my bed, dressed, packed my lunch bag, completed Wordle and Connections (one mistake - but it made my brain hurt!), eaten breakfast and supped a brew.
I'll put out the recycling, feed the birds, water the hanging basket and top up the birdbath and hedgehog's dish before I tootle off.
Hoping today is a calmer day all round. For everyone.
Much love
