how do I post pictures please anyone?

yep you post your link between [IMG][/img]link here for example

you can the link for pictures after you have uploaded them to My space or image shack by right cliking them selecting properties and copy and pasting the URL ( link)

When you go on about Vegas to somebody who has not been they just think that it is a big line of casinos with flashing lights, and they wonder why millions of people go just to see flashing lights?

How wrong can they be??!! It is the best holiday destination in the world. Does anybody find this problem with people who have not been to LV?

i get this all time , people assume because you are going to Vegas you are going to Gamble . i play Poker , not for huge amounts ( i,m not turning PRO, or making a 2nd income off it like so many "poker experts" seem to aspire too  ) and i stick the odd $20 in a slot if i'm waiting for a show or something . IF only people could see past the Gambling they would see a great holiday with something for just about everyone.

The Fab Four show used to be at the V Theatre in the Miracle Mile, but has recently move to the Sahara.

We have seen it 3 times, twice it was excellent and the 3rd time it was just very good as it was a different line up. Would still recommend seeing it though and you should get tickets at Tix4Tonight at half price.

i have already answered this question , back in post #857 . we found the Orchestra seats to be very good ( espically at half price )

    Thanks for that.
But with that site do i have to visit the location on the day i want to see the show?

Is there not a way to book before i go at all?

Yes you can book direct with the Venetian www.venetian.com but will pay full price.

If you are going before 30 April you can save $40 per ticket through TravelZoo

** Edit - I see you're not going till June. Personally I would wait and keep an eye on TravelZoo for updated offers.

nope , hence the names of the half price outlets , tix4tonite and tickets2nite.

there is no guarantee they ( the half price outlets) will have Phantom tickets when you go , but it is also unlikely every night will be sold out either . you can still pay full price when you get there from The Phantom Box office .
if you really must have a cetain seats and a certain night you will pay for the privledge i'm afraid . we payed $80 for Orchestra so if you can find a $40 off deal it might be wise to go for it. i'll keep my eyes open on LVA to see if any offers for Phantom appear. if any one will have disount offers it will probably be Travelzoo like Luci says

if you are go to the half price outlets , it best to get there about 30 mins before opening (tix4tonite opens at 11am) unless you have a VIP line pass , (which you can get by purchasing other tickets there or sometimes downloading a coupon off the website) if you want the popular shows. saying that i think i purchased my phantom tickets about 2pm no problem , but it depends on the week you go.

We stayed at the Luxor last year but due to the slightly negative reviews of the pyramid rooms on Tripadvisor we booked a tower room which had a great view and felt fairly new and fresh. The pyramid rooms get poor reviews due to them overlooking the casino so they could be smoky and noisy. One downside to staying in the towers is that they are seperated from the pyramid via a labyrinth of corridors and we got lost many times, they do not want you to leave this hotel...

The only other negative is the location, it's a bit too out of it on the strip we felt, the deal Trets posted for the NewYork NewYork in July looks a good deal.. I loved the NYNY and intend on staying there a few nights this year on our roadtrip.

    Garbage.

Im at the Luxor as we speak, its at the tail end of the strip but there is a monorail and excellent bus service. As it happens i walked from here to Planet Hollywood last night and it took maybe 25 mins.

I am in the basic room and have to say it is spot on. Much better than the Monte Carlo and New York York.
