Anyone had any dealings with Presedential Limos in LV. I fancy booking an airport Limo deal on their website but for some reason I'm not having much joy. I'll probably call them direct. I'm in Vegas next Wed for 7 nights for the big 40 and want to do a couple of things to remember. Booking a Limo instead of a bog standard taxi is on the list.

I finished work earlier today so now have to kill 5 days before I leave. Any last minute stuff I should be aware of?

IMHO there are plenty of more memorable things in Vegas than a limo ride from the airport. Depending where you are staying it could only be a 10-15 ride anyway. Believe me there will be plenty of other memorable memories. Thats just my 2 pfennings worth. Each to there own of course.

I'm sooooo jealous of all you people. We're just about to have our first child, I guess no more Vegas trips for us for like 18 years. :(

kinda agree in a way, if you want a limo tour, i'd recommend just getting a limo tour from a hotel one evening, that way you see the strip all lit up and you're not knackered from the flight :) they're always waiting outside hotels :)

we did that last time and think it was $60 (£30) for an hour of his time, plus he stopped at the Las Vegas sign and took a photo of us under it on my camera :)

Just a note for anyone looking to travel within the next week or 2 from Manchster.

Flythomascook.com has some great flight deals from Manchester and work out cheaper than TC & Airtours site. There is also a £20 discount code available for the site too.

    Hello all,
Not long till me and my partner go now (June 5th)
We're just sitting here looking at getting a show in while we're both there and always fancied seeing Phantom of the Opera (or as it's called - Phantom: The Las Vegas Spectacular)
Just would like some help on where some decent seats are and to try get some good prices.
It seems the Orchestra seats are pretty good, especially taking up the front balcony. But all advise is welcome!!

    from previous post
we had no problem getting them half price from Tickets tonight .

you are more likely to find them on weekdays rather than weekends . don't forget to print off the coupon in the link below, to get a $1 per ticket off and go join the VIP line ( and cut in front of the regular line :D ) . get there at opening to get the shows that sell quicky. your best bet is to see if they have any for sale the day before , and then you will know how to play it on the day you want to go. after picking up the voucher they give you, you can then go to Venetian ticket office to collect your proper tickets and be assigned a seat. we went straight away and and got front and center seats no problem. you have to collect your tickets at least an hour before the show.

i highley reccomend the show , and we sat in the Balcony which was excellent and would seem to be better choice for the show than on the floor.

My wife and I are looking to make our 3rd trip to vegas in Feb 2009 ( I posted some pics a few pages back on this thread of our previous trips). Our previous two trips have just been booked through expedia and I have just paid the 'going rate'. Its not until I came on this message board that I even realised that these offers were available.

I was wondering when and were is it best to book? Is it best to book now or wait a week before we want to go? Or is it best to wait until some offers get posted on here which include Feb 2009??

We are looking to fly from Manchester and direct, We dont want to change!
We are looking staying at a highest class hotel we can afford(we have stayed at Luxor and Signature at MGM). Our total budget will be about £1500 for hotel & Flights for both of us.

Any help will be very much appreciated. :D

I wouldn't say there is any best hotel, it depends ona multitude of factors from budget to personal taste. Personally I didn't like the luxor or it's location, but they do have some reasonable deals.

We stayed at the Luxor last year but due to the slightly negative reviews of the pyramid rooms on Tripadvisor we booked a tower room which had a great view and felt fairly new and fresh. The pyramid rooms get poor reviews due to them overlooking the casino so they could be smoky and noisy. One downside to staying in the towers is that they are seperated from the pyramid via a labyrinth of corridors and we got lost many times, they do not want you to leave this hotel...

The only other negative is the location, it's a bit too out of it on the strip we felt, the deal Trets posted for the NewYork NewYork in July looks a good deal.. I loved the NYNY and intend on staying there a few nights this year on our roadtrip.
