Aprilokay one question at a timeThanks Steff!!
I have just priced it at £159. It's a bit too pricey for 1 night (8th April) I'm afraid although the link would've saved getting a taxi into the airport.
We initially pencilled in the Travelodge at £29 but it has gone up to £66. I'm having trouble trying to get good train fare prices too from Glasgow. ANyway we're 3 quarters there, just the final touches to sort.
Thanks again!!
we have stayed at Bewleys Manchester Airport the last 2 trips and it is fine. ( you can see the Radisson from the lobby) so it is really close to the airport . plus they have a shuttle bus that picks you up from the train station. the good thing about this hotel is that the prices never change . you won't find it at 3rd party agencies or price compare sites. for £79 a night i think it is good value. food isn't great but not terrible from our experiance , the posh restaurant is better bet than the Bar menu .The rooms are comfy.

http://www.ratebuster.co.uk/pages/home.asp?tid=ID0000001&icid=K013-2559744-138KEVAPPC27960=KHello, I just want to say what a great thread this is! I'm off with my other half in July ( i know the hottest month!) for 6 nights to Vegas. I'm looking to stay at either MGM grand or the Venetian. At the moment there isn't a real differnce in price between the 2 hotels for stays between 10th-16th July. Is it worth holding out and booking nearer the time? What's people's experience of hotel booking?
providing they are not NO REFUND offers ( it will clearly say in the terms and conditions if they are , most direct offers are refundable ) and it is direct with the hotels , you have nothing to lose to by booking now.if you find a better price for same hotel nearer the time , they will price match , you can then cancel the one you don't want for a 100% refund as long it is over 72 hours before your stay. remember they only take your 1st night as deposit.
MGM Grand from $79
from Fatwallet. stays until july 31st . expires April 16th

Trets,
We're flying with Thomas Cook to Vegas. Can I have your opinion please.
As I said last night I booked 2 nights in Bill's (Wed & Thurs) & 5 nights (Fri - Wed) in the MGM. There's a new deal for the Venetian which has just been put on the Fatwallet site.
It would cost me $40 dollars more in total to stay in the Venetian the Friday & Sat night than it would the MGM. So I could end up with 2 nights in Bills, 2 in the Venetian & 3 in the MGM.
Is 3 hotels too much for 1 week? Would you take advantage of the Venetian offer for the 2 nights?
It may be the 1 and only time we go to Vegas so I think the Venetian would be a great place to stay - what do you think?

Thanks for the heads up people! I've just taken advantage of the MGM grand deal and have booked 6 nights in the bungalow suite for £480 including tax plus their throwing in freebies like compliementary cocktails, dining credit etc. I will keep a look to see if the price gets any cheaper
Bring on July 10th I say!0 -
Anyone had any dealings with Presedential Limos in LV. I fancy booking an airport Limo deal on their website but for some reason I'm not having much joy. I'll probably call them direct. I'm in Vegas next Wed for 7 nights for the big 40 and want to do a couple of things to remember. Booking a Limo instead of a bog standard taxi is on the list.
I finished work earlier today so now have to kill 5 days before I leave. Any last minute stuff I should be aware of?0 -
Hello all,
Not long till me and my partner go now (June 5th)
We're just sitting here looking at getting a show in while we're both there and always fancied seeing Phantom of the Opera (or as it's called - Phantom: The Las Vegas Spectacular)
Just would like some help on where some decent seats are and to try get some good prices.
It seems the Orchestra seats are pretty good, especially taking up the front balcony. But all advise is welcome!!0 -
Star_Buck,
We're also staying in a Bungalow Suite in May, though we're using the two Queen bed suite as it's my brother and I, I'll let you know what we thought of it when we come back.

Hi, I have used them before in 2007 & have booked with them again for our July 08 LV trip. They are very profesional, we had a 4 hr delay (we flew US Airways via Philly, never again!) they monitor the flight & were waiting at arrivals for us, helped sort out a missing bag, & took our luggage to the limo. My wife was given a red rose & we were supplied with a bottle of champagne for the ride.
You can have beer, water or soft drinks if you prefer. We only booked one way last time as we had a hire car for our last few days. But this time I have booked a round trip, they are great I would recomend them without hessitation. Far better than queing for taxi's or busses & very classy:cool:0 -

Hi,
I booked an airport limo last year as a suprise for my other half and to be honest it was complete let down, I booked with these - http://www.a1worldwidelimo.com/lasvegas-limos/ firstly he was late and wasn't carrying a sign with my name on it.. I had to call the company and arrange to meet him somewhere, there's lots of limo drivers around the arrivals hall so I ended up walking around asking if they were waiting for me. Secondly, he couldn't fit one of our cases in his car so had to have it in the front with him which kept falling over when he braked and hitting him. Thirdly, due to the traffic on the strip he dodged out of the 'tour of the strip' I paid for and gave us a tour of the strip from the service roads behind the hotels... which wasn't that scenic.0 -
