    ps fantastic flight prices

Where did you get the strat for £30 a night ?? especially the Sat night you cant normally arrive on a saturday??

It used to be the case that you couldn't arrive on a Saturday but we've not had a problem with this for quite a few years. There may be some hotels that still don't allow it but I couldn't name any of them.

2.5 months is still quite a long time for deals to appear. Keep looking up Fatwallet and something will spring up...or it better as we are also hopefully heading there for the last two weeks of March ...unless we go skiing again .decisions, decisions....

Very well noticed, i wasnt 100% clear with my posting, sunday, monday, tuesday and wedbesday at the strat booked at that rate through hotels.com
The saturday night (the night we get there we are staying at a cheap hotel) as we wont get there till late and its not worth paying the £66 for the night there.

I looked on the hotels.com site but it was so slow, I gave up

For anyone else who wants the Strat it is $59.99 a night on their website for those nights now (30th march for 4 nights) then if you do a little gambling it may be comped...you never know.

Yes I have 5 nights booked at Flamingo for an average of $85 and they are going to upgrade me to a GO room (problems last year)

A great source for finding flights is http://matrix.itasoftware.com/cvg/dispatch/login
You need to sign up, but have a play around and make sure you use the 1 month ahead tab at the top of the search page
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

How do they like people from the UK going through the US site. I've heard some airlines don't like you going to other countries sites?

I assume they are OK with it as they do give the quote in GBP...and you have the option to choose your country (at the top of the main page)...prices seem to be the same whichever way you go and I do not think that Delta has a UK site...
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?
