    I can see from those photos that you were on a low floor. ;) We were in a Fortuna Suite which looks very similar, but on the 49th floor. Hubby thought he'd have a good view of the Sirens show, but we were towering above TI which looked tiny and the people looked like ants.

    the guy at the check-in advised us to go lower as we could have had a higher floor but siad the people looked like ants so went for the lower floor

    I used to stay at the Trop until a couple of years ago when it seemed to go downhill,just look at the reviews on trip advisor !!!

    i would be very wary of staying at the Tropicanna no matter how cheap it is. LVA had so many complaints that they did a big investigation into the place. Apperantly the owners are having trouble paying their bills , meaning all but the most essential maintance is being skipped . and the rooms there never got good reviews before that .if money is that tight then the trashy castle might be a better bet , but really spend a few extra dollars and you will reap the rewards.

    $60 a night for Paris ...i'd be bitting their hand off to book it.

    thanks for all the input on where to stay downtown. Seemed like the nugget was favourite but prices there seem almost as high as the strip. so, we have made a decision and booked..................

    cheers for the pics Middy, don't suppose you could make them smaller or provide links to them instead
    could you? (or put line breaks between the consecutive ones?)

    one of them is showing up as missing, the real link is this one by the look of it;
