MayI
Have you thought of venturing out of Vegas for a night Laughlin or the Grand Canyon ?The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -

Please Note: Additional one-way fees may apply for this rental. Should this be the case we will contact you after you send in your request & advise you of the relevant fees, which will be payable to the supplier locally.
Makes it difficult to compare prices if there might be some extras to come.illegitimi non carborundum0 -

MayI haven't stayed there, but have read plenty and the Golden Nugget seems to be the only place to stay downtown.
What about the Orleans or Gold Coast for that night?0 -

Are you sure the £107 includes a drop off fee? Its a bit of a coincidence that £107 is the cost of a days rental of an SUV (while a compact will cost £19.30). Both include all fees and there is no drop off fee with Hertz between Lax and Las (change the destination to Salt Lake City to see the difference).0 -
Congratualtions on the top two.
I know how you feel about going back, i am so down everytime i come back
Yep congrats from me too
And I agree on the feeling down. Me and OH went in June, and I'm pining to go back.
I adore the place, and I would highly recommend getting married there too, ('cos we did in 2001 and it's a fab experience) just for the trip to the courthouse to get the marriage licence. :rotfl:BEST EVER WINS WON IN ORDER (so far) = Sony Camcorder, 32" lcd telly, micro ipod hifi, Ipod Nano, Playstation 3, Andrex Jackpup, Holiday to USA, nintendo wii, Liverpool vs Everton tickets, £250 Reward Your thirst, £500 Pepsi, p&o rotterdam trip, perfume hamper, Dr Who stamp set, steam cleaner.

MarchSo long as you can cancel without penalty if any extra fees come in, its worth going for. As I said, they told me on the phone today there were no one way charges NV/CA
I agree...just assumed you couldn't cancel...if you can then that's excellent...may look into it for our trip in April then.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Just checked them to see how it compared to the rates booking direct (as if the inclusive rate isn't a lot more than the direct rate I might go with it). When it gives the rate it says:
Please Note: Additional one-way fees may apply for this rental. Should this be the case we will contact you after you send in your request & advise you of the relevant fees, which will be payable to the supplier locally.

I had a similar situation with CarHire300 a few months ago & phoned to check before booking. The agent I spoke to was able to confirm there was no additional fee and did the booking for me, at the online discounted price - and the confirmation emailed to me stated "no one-way fee".0
