You mean you didn't know that a lot of hire companies don't charge a one-way drop off fee between CA/NV/Az ?? $500 ....LOL
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    And that's funny is it?

Rather than make yourself look stupid, ignorant, obnoxious and immature, why not list these hire companies so that other people who didn't know can take advantage of them.

Or is it your little secret?

ive just looked again at dollar.com and there is a $119.68 one way drop off charge added when i prgress with the booking, giving a total price for $212.04

that is from LAX and dropping off at Luxor.

If you book with Dollar.co.uk there appears to be no one way fee, then a day or two later Dollar will email you advising of the charge.

    congratulations !!!!!

can we ask where you plan on getting married ????

Thanks for all the congratulations. I'm not at all sure, but probably within the next 18 months all going well. I haven't ruled out a weddingmoon in Vegas :D. Not going to stress over it until after Christmas and New Year. Big wedding at home is definately not on my list though, if it's here, it'll be a small thing - no bridemaids etc.....

On the note of carhire - I used CarHire 3000 this year and rang to check all the insurances were covered, they have a UK number and they were cheap too. I took the dollar platinum package through them. The number's somewhere on the thread approx end Oct if it helps.

yea. i clocked that about the .co.uk site and the clause about additional drop off charges.
USCarHire.com have quoted me £33 with no mention of drop off charges, and this is using dollar car hire....

I think the safest bet is to wait until wdw advises the list of car hire companies that don't charge one way fees. I have heard some horror stories of people being billed hundreds of dollars when they collect/drop off the car in one way fees.

If wdw has experience of lots who don't then you have something to go off.

I drove from LAX to LAS in Oct this year and me and friends used National/Alamo
we also had to pay a one way drop fee, but from what i can remember it was not much more or less that what has been quoted by "westhamdaz" of around $120.
over all it was a great service and really good price as we had a minivan for 6 of us.
Really impressed and considering I used to work for Dollar in the UK (Dollar/Thrifty) that is making a statement lol
