OH proposed, very unexpectedly. I said yes obviously :D
Met up with Pebblesmax who intoduced me to margaritas

Congrats on the engagement - how exciting!

And glad you got to meet Pebbles...she's a great lady...I'm sorry we seem to keep missing her since the first time.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

The wife and I are thinking of going to LV first week in Jan instead of over New Year as we can save over £1000 that way, whats it like first week of Jan, I take it all the usual things to do / see are open ?

I assume you'll be leaving on or before the 8th of January? That's the day 2 conventions with a total of nearly 200,000 attendees will arrive...the big one (CES, may be the biggest of the year) makes Vegas pretty hideous in terms of restaurants, anything with a queue, etc.

I think mostly everything will be open in terms of things to do/see (except some hotel pools)...I think most of the shows are back to normal schedules as well.

Some casinos are red hot on borderline 21s others a little more lax-and not always the ones you'd think ! Quite a few times at MGM my 16 year old (tall but looks his age) met up with us in the casino and wasn't jumped on the way we experienced in others. We never pushed it but it did mke me wonder
