Except when Upper is sold out, as it often is to Vegas.

What happens with the two hundred pounds of taxes?

True , but I pick my flights well my friend and only choose 3/4 days before I fly . I can look at the flight loading via my daughters virgin staff website and if upper looks open ..... off I go

Regarding taxes , you pay for an economy staff ticket . Cost me just over £80 all in a few weeks ago . and if theres space in upper you get moved up . So checking before you go is nearly , but not always guranteed an upper space . If not I have to slum it in Premium

Hope you understand a little better now

i went to las vegas gun range & firearm centre on blue diamond road did the full monty tour booked through top gun tours. would highly recomend this but do it on your last day because some of the machine guns can leave you a bit bruised and sore also go midweek as at the weekend the ques are out the door.

Yes but it's Virgin-and the planes on LGW LAS are awful. Now if the OP was boasting about the LAX flights I could understand it.
Actually my favourite DUH moment came from a Virgin trolley dolly-she approached the vicar sitting next to me (wearing a dog collar and reading his bible)and trilled at him "Are you the Hindu meal" The look on his face said it all......Thick or what.
Could it possibly have been the OP's daughter I wonder -there's a certain crassness that seems the same.

thats why there are rarely any free op ups any more...seems whenever there are a few available seats, they are given to off duty cabin crew on board, or their families/friends who have paid very little for their trip...

I said what I said as tongue in cheek to stonemans remark about gloating

What you said was rude , you jealous little man

For your information my daughter is a FSM . Thats the lady with the black blouse , who is in overall charge of the cabin crew

To the other person . I have done upper LAX . infact i have done UPPER nearly everywhere they fly and vegas upper is lovely

there was no boasting here , but there are alot of bitter replys
why not say something like , oh lucky you !
