  • Thanks Sew - Wasnt after free wine/chocs, would be happy to pay for them - Was just thinking if we alerted them to the fact they might think... ohh upgrade.... wishful thinking ehhh:confused:

    worth a try , but like previous poster says everything at the Wynn is bloody expensive so i doubt it will work. i'm sure there is a very expensive chocolate shop in the Casino with the Wynn brand on it , not the sort of chocolate they give away free by the looks of the place :A .

    i once walked down the Esplanade shopping center on a Saturday evening which should be prime time and all the shops were empty with hovering employees counting things to make it look like they were at least doing something. it is just way too up market IMO

    Cheers Trets - I was a bit bit concerned about this.... As we are def more of
    'Circus Circus' kinda people :D Will see how we get on

    When we got married after the meal etc we had a suite at Mirage and my boss and his wife had a bottle of champagne and choccy dipped strawberries for us it was a really lovely thought.

    Its rather confusing when their own website is contradictory. I guess whats important is what the contract says........mooky?

    I went last night on car3000, uscarhire, and netflights websites, and its difficult to do a like for like comparison, as its so unclear whats included and whats not, eg one of them was pushing an excess removal insurance as an extra, another was saying its included but most sites class it as an add-on, and then the petrol......eg full/empty and you get charged a ridiculous rate for the petrol.

    The wording on my confirmation/voucher is;
    Insurance Information
    Your rental includes collision damage waiver & theft protection with no excess.

    Also, the option from Dollar to add an additional driver and full tank of petrol was 16 quid. I think that's quite reasonable....

    I would not step foot inside CC again (except for the amazing steak house) but we are ceratinly not Wynn/Bellagio types we are more Luxor/MGM I guess but we loved Wynn. We felt although Wynn was up there with Bellagio it had a more down to earth feel and the staff were the best I have had at any hotel anywhere in the World they all just cared. I am sure that you will love it but as I said just be careful about what you buy the problem you have is that when you are in a resort like that you forget what the prices are elsehwere and you dont realise that you are paying and $1.50 on a coffee or a bottle of coke. Being cheap we went to Walgreens bought bottled water, biscuits and other little bits and pieces so it meant the only things we were getting at Wynn was coffee oh and amazing fruit salad that was a total rip off at $9 a pop but it was very nice. I know I have said it but will say it again the staff wer fanatastic could not do enough to help even the Valet guys telling us not hurry there was plenty of time and the concerge (SP) when my wife phoned up to see what channel Super natural to the maid who help us get in to our room when we locked ourselves out.

    I've added going to the gun range to my to-do list. Has anyone tried out the Gun Store on Tropicana Ave? Seems this is popular for tourists. Just looking for anyone's personal experience if anyone has been.

    I have been there it was good fun but they no longer allow you to load the guns I will see if I can find my pics and post them up. There was three of us and we got three handguns and fired 10 shots each on each Glok 21 45m S&W 38special and Baretta 92F, I think had an HK MP5 machine gun and two of fired a desert eagle. I think the whole lot took about an hour and cost around $100. It was very touristy and whilst I would go there again I have been given some links for some less touristy places elsewhere and I will probably try there instead

    If you pre-arrange chocs etc in the room-that might go against you for an upgrade if they pre-allocate your room so the chocs are waiting when you arrive...............just a thought.
    Might be better to spend the $50 on a tip at check in for a better result

    And!:confused:
    The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
