You can always order a bottle of wine or a beer or two to top it up.

But as I said, I don't know if it was a mistake or not. Also do check to see if the $50 includes gratuity etc as for the first few days we charged to our room and left cash. The last night was the only time I added the gratuity to the room tab. Whether that had anything to do with it or not I have no idea.

points taken. Not a very well thought out argument on my part.:o :o:o
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

can't believe the currency drop today :( I do wish our government would stop coming out with doom and gloom statements!!!

on the plus side and by co-incidence, I decided to stop messing around and buy a bit of currency yesterday 'just in case' - gone for it from www.crowncurrencyexchange.com and have to wait till beginning of December to get it, but got it for 1.75 instead of the 1.65 it is now meaning i've saved $40

wish it was as good as when we went in June tho :(

0 excess. Called CarHire3000 to confirm too. 4 days for £77 includes tank of fuel and an extra driver. Very pleased with the price. OH picked a bigger car too
Are you sure? Im on their site now and
It is normally possible to reduce the excess on the vehicle by purchasing additional products from the supplier locally. These products are sometimes called Master cover or Super CDW & can reduce the excess down to anything as low as zero in some cases. Don't forget you can also purchase the Traveljigsaw Damage Excess Refund Product.(Please see the sections relating to the damage excess refund product for further information)
Did you buy their Damage Excess refund?

    So----
Is there an excess with Carhire 3000 or not?

It appears that there is from the T&C's but they told Mookybargirl there were none. Does anyone know for sure? Our next trip is 31 days and Carhire 3000 is about £100 cheaper for the month than Netflights. Dollar is even more. i'd like to know for certain before I book.
