Is there an excess with Carhire 3000 or not?
It appears that there is from the T&C's but they told Mookybargirl there were none. Does anyone know for sure? Our next trip is 31 days and Carhire 3000 is about £100 cheaper for the month than Netflights. Dollar is even more. i'd like to know for certain before I book.
from what i posted / and from what i have been told / plus my own experience on hiring cars in USA there is no excess
but if you have any doubts , this is where a English call center earns it cornBetter in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -
Mayno trips for me while this continues . it is just too painful    :mad:The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0

They've confirmed no and the website said no, so I'm happy that I'll not get stung for anything. I also booked the platinum package (it's with dollar) so that also includes a tank of fuel and an additional driver (not that OH will want to drive), but it's also good to have a plan b.Love MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!0 -

Never been to the US/LV.... So only going from what i have read on here

Amazing deal for Wynn we paidf $149 last Xmas and that was very good. You will not get free chocs etc becasue its a birthday/Wedding etc as many people come to Vegas for a reason. We got upgarded using the $20 trick (we used $50) and its well worth a go but my experience is that you have more chance just being nice rather than saying that its a wedding etc.. http://vegasuncovered.wordpress.com/2008/10/16/20-upgrade-trick-an-update-las-vegas/
You will enjoy Wynn very much but just be aware that everything in Wynn costs more than eslewhere so get your Botteld water and other things from anorther shopIts Vegas time -no longer :T a five year old has changed Vegas time to Orlando time0 -

I went last night on car3000, uscarhire, and netflights websites, and its difficult to do a like for like comparison, as its so unclear whats included and whats not, eg one of them was pushing an excess removal insurance as an extra, another was saying its included but most sites class it as an add-on, and then the petrol......eg full/empty and you get charged a ridiculous rate for the petrol.illegitimi non carborundum0 -

worth a try , but like previous poster says everything at the Wynn is bloody expensive so i doubt it will work. i'm sure there is a very expensive chocolate shop in the Casino with the Wynn brand on it , not the sort of chocolate they give away free by the looks of the place :A .
i once walked down the Esplanade shopping center on a Saturday evening which should be prime time and all the shops were empty with hovering employees counting things to make it look like they were at least doing something. it is just way too up market IMOBetter in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0
