As in with four of us saving $21 isn't all that substantial! I guess I just didn't pay enough attention at the time. I thought you could say use 3 vouchers for one meal towards $75 of food.0

I suppose that $21 saved is $21 saved in my mind, but can understand if you were expecting to use more than one it might be disappointing. The voucher also calls for a 20% tip before discount - so if you aren't prone to tipping at that level then you may consider whether the voucher is worth using?
Regardless, it's fantastic food...really worth trying...and the waiters are great and attentive without being annoying and hovering.

MarchTwo tables of two? "Can we sit at the table over there please?"
I'm not sure that would work as the certificates prohibit it - and also the restaurant has to call in the certificate numbers so it may happen that restaurant.com flags the second one when the restaurant calls. There's a restriction on using only one certificate per month as well...whether the numbers of the certificates will cause this to be flagged or not I am not sure as you could, in theory, give one to someone else at the restaurant genuninely not with you.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Hi there
I went to vegas nearly 6 years ago and am considering going at Easter with hubby as 3 kids aged 5, 3 and 1. We are not big gamblers so staying off casino floors not a problem. OH said he will be happy to go if I can find stuff for kids to do there. Any ideas? How long is a reasonable stay? I found a week wasn't long enough last time. And this time we would stay off stip at somewher like an extended stay or hyatt place. Your help would be appreciated.WW Gold Member, trying to maintain !!!Hayden born July 07Tabitha born April 05Poppy born July 030 -

Heading to Vegas next Monday (22nd) for my first trip with my wife! Flying into NewYork then on to Vegas from there - staying at the Venetian - we got a super deal through Trailfinders. We are staying 5 nights
Right, some help needed....
My wife loves her food (as do all ladies!:rotfl: ) so I wouldn't mind getting some tips for where to go for:
1. Breakfast
2. Lunch
3. Dinner
Peppermills - anytime of day
Ellis Island BBQ - Especially the $8.99 Combo
Bills Gaming Hall - The steak special $14.99 (Not on menu, have to ask for it)
I also really like The Terrace Point Cafe in The Wynn - again, anytime of day. You can eat inside or outside by the pool (beware their night time menu switches to limited choice at 10pm).
(all my choices are reasonably priced - none are fine dining!).
I realise that there are load of places but some of your fav's would be good.. I don't mind having one reasonably expensive dinner but the rest I'd like to keep within normality (wine included of course as we both love our wine!). P.S We enjoy a mid day drink too!
Also I am a gambling novice - so I know the rules of blackjack but wouldn't be hot on Poker - where is a good gambling hall (one that serves well with the free drink as well:beer: )
If you are more interested in getting free drinks whilst gambling than actually gambling then I would stay away from the bigger places - ie one time in Monte Carlo I was playing roulette for at least an hour and I didnt get offered a drink once!! Whereas places like Bills, Gold Coast, Orleans etc are smaller and therefore offer drinks more often. I found Rio to be good too.
Good bars / clubs at night - people have recommended the Nine Irishmen is a good place for a few pints....
I am a fan of The Voodoo Lounge @ The Rio. Ferf recently posted a link to get free entry and queue jump (do a search to find it). AMAZING views of Vegas from the outside terrace and the journey up in the lift is an experience in itself. Go around 10 - 10.30pm when its not totally packed to appreciate the place and view and try a "Witchdoctor" cocktail - big enough for two and pretty lethal - though not that cheap!
Finally trips e.g Grand Canyon - should we book on the web now or wait until we arrive....
Me & my OH booked our GC trip whilst in vegas two days before going. We booked via papillon and we went on the Grand Celebration Tour First Class. I seem to recall that we paid slightly less than what other people on here have paid for the same trip booking in advance. I am sorry, I cant remember the exact amount but $600 for both of us seems to ring a bell.
Sorry for the long post - and I realise that most questions are probably answered on Page 1 but I fancied some more recent views....
Thanks in advance guys...
See my answers above.

Don't know about the other hotels but the Orleans has a creche -and a bowling centre (70 lanes) and a nice pool. The rooms are big too with a seperate sitting area. Free shuttle to the Strip so if one of you was returning with one child for any reason no-one is stranded and forced to get a cab with the other two(assuming you have a hire car)
Personally I loathe Circus Circus but lots of kiddie rides there (but please don't stay there !!), Lions at MGM, Mandalay Bay (I think) has an aquarium I'm sure you'd find enough to do for a few days although personally I don't think Vegas is especially small child friendly.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Personally, I think that's pretty young for Vegas (I'm generally not a huge proponent of kids in Vegas, but a bit older I can understand more than this young). Yes, there are things for kids to do, but 3 that young is quite a lot. I guess I don't quite understand why you would choose Vegas with 3 little ones when there would be much more family-oriented options - especially if you aren't big gamblers and don't plan to stay on the Strip? In maybe 5 years I could see there being enough to keep them entertained but 5, 3 & 1 seems a bit too young to me.
Then again, I have cats...what do I know of children?Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Wow, this is a really great place to find out about all things Vegas. This will be our first time and we are soooooo looking forward to it. Please can you help me out.
I dont seem to be able to get any good prices for Strip hotels for check in 14th Nov check out 19th Nov. We would really love to stay at the Venetian or Wynn but I think they maybe out of our budget price. I have looked at Fatwallet but it all looks so confusing. Can any of you experts help us out. Thanks guys....:beer:0
